I thought I heard one of these tracks on the car radio yesterday ,cool , about time too !
Credit where it's due . . . I'd never heard of this band many years ago when Saffex first told me about them and back then I teased him for liking what I ignorantly called a bunch of southern rednecks. Since then I've taken the trouble to listen to them and I've become a huge fan . . . the best southern rock band since Lynard Skynard and one of the best live performances I've ever seen (at the FNB stadium in Soweto nogal!).
My favourite Kings of Leon track is Back Down South but I'm listening to "Beautiful War" as I type this and it's just goosebump stuff!
Good one Rooi...............'Beautiful War' is all about those tough times in a relationship.......according to the boys..........am a big fan of 'Temple' as well.......give that one a listen.
When you see the title "Temple" you think of some exotic place of worship but of course, it's nothing like that!
