Nonu I can remember another incident where Nonu was red-carded for a tip tackle that was one of the most dangerous tackles I have ever seen in rugby - but is not in the video clip.
Nonu was a strong ball carrier - but with question marks about his normal defense as well - dirty hits like shown in the video clip was his real defensive forte.

Sorry about Nonu though as I always rated him.....Owen Farrel would be England's trump card for making high tackles.

You must be mistaking Nonu for Dud1. Question marks over Nonu centered around his passing and handling earlier in his career. He really turned a corner through 2008. Nonu was a very complete 12. Obviously Maori blood being what it is, he could overstep the rules of the game.

He was so faulty in his defense that he was subbed very early in the 2015 RC test, That was snot the only time it happened either. He was capable of outplaying all SA venters - bar De Allende, the top center in WC2019. LOL.

Damian? Top centre? Damian was nowhere in the world cup and was embarrassing in the final. Speaking of World Cups. Who was it who Damian couldn't tackle in the 2015 semi? Who allowed New Zealand to an easy try?

Allende had a great RWC and was widely praised. Org missed it all again just as with Du Toit. Org needs a visit to the optician and a strong presciption!
Nonu was a very effective center although a dirty player. BOD was on the receiving end of his foul play.

Nonu wasn't playing for the All Blacks in 2005 Herr Sitzsack. Also, reference the great Damian contributions throughout the World Cup.

Mother Nonu made lots of shoulder charges, but otherwise, he was not that bad.
