I haven't made many contributions on the other sections because I'm not the cricket lover I used to be (not since Hansie broke cricket for me) and I write about my beloved Tottenham Hotspur on a different site, but once a year I will certainly make use of the Other Sports section to talk about my favourite annual sporting event and the world's greatest race, the Tour de France.

@Ed,
The primary topics of rugby, cricket, football are self-explanatory because they organise the threads into separate areas. What is the function does the sub-topics?  If a sub-topic is chosen, there is no way for the user to make use of this after the thread is created.
