The Highlanders team came to SA and managd to score 3 tries in 2 games - while their opposing teams scored 8.  Grated they needed the help of the referee to ein the fiorst game against the Bulls - but three tries against one in thaty game says is all.

Today they managed to score 2 tries - but the Sharks scored 5 and in the process they were humiated,

Last week it was said their defense is good - today their backline was a sieve.   Last week much were made of Sopoaga ast flyhalf - today he was useless.

The next team coning is the Chiefs.   All I an say is that the y are in for a mauling by both the Sharks and the Stormers.

Much like the Blues, they too do not belong in the competition.

Heaven forbid any Kiwi teams are left out ... no matter how useless.

Mik that's a bit of a daft statement. The NZ teams batter us in 90% of the SXV games. Because we managed to beat one of their teams on home turf, is hardly a reason to beat our chests. Glad you are so patriotoc though.

No Chippo

The Chiefs and Hurricanes should not have beaten the Bulls and Sharks in NZ - they needed some serious help from the referees to achieve those wins.

Their team performances in SA this year was iffy.   The Bulls beat the Hurricanes at home.  The Highlanders were helped along by the referee when they beat the Bulls in Round 11.  They managed to score just one try against the Bulls three tries.

The only other NZ teams that won in SA this year were the Crusaders and Blues with narrow wins against the Lions.   The loss o f the Lions against the Blues was really the result of poor team performance and an accident.

I cannot see how the Chiefs will win against the Stormers and the Sharks,  If the Chiefs loses both games - and I am confident they will - the record will look dismal from a visiting NZ team perspective.

However, I really posted this thread to bait the NZ mmbers on site - but thy have not bitten yet.

Well the Blues beat the Lions and the Tahs on their poorest form in years.

Having said that I believe that these hiatuses in form from once great sides are just lapses that will eventually hit pay dirt.

I also hear some calling for the heads of Sunwolves...I see vast improvement in play here, the sad thing is that they have just fallen short in so many games...they are improving fast...and if you cannot acknowledge that then there is something wrong with your rugby vision.

Would like to see Supers trimmed to 10 or twelve sides but including Japan and Argentina however but that's very unlikely for obvious reasons.

There is just too much rugby in Supers and who suffers in the longer term...not enough time for international rugby and crocked players.

The fact is that the SA teams played more games in NZ than the NZ teams play SA teams in SA this year,  Next year that situation will change and I can already hear the moans of the NZ  supporters when that happens. .

The Blues have not beaten anybody bar the Sunwioles and now the Waratahs - so what else can be said about them.  Their best players are the Ioane brothers and SBW - who was humiliated by De Allende in the Stormers game.

However, this is about visiting NZ teams to SA.   The only one wo had a merit win was the Crusaders - the Highlanders needed the active help of the referee to beat the Bulls (they scored one try against the three of the Bulls) and they were shown up as useless by the Sharks.

Next comes the Chiefs and they can expect even worse.   The Highlanders  turned into crybabies - so what will happen to the Chiefs. over the next two weeks?   What will happen to them will be mild compared to what the Jaguares did to them.   Big question remains - will Retallick opt out of the tour so as not to be subjected to competition from real locks?

LOL

Here follows my short yet extremely effective guide on how to be come an a-hole instantly.

How to become an a-hole instantly - By Plum

Say anything negative about a kiwi person, team or result.

Note: this guide will only offer a-hole status within NZ. Other more logical rules apply to the rest of the known universe.

We hope you found our guide both helpful and informative.

The end.

Wardad, speak for myself, yes, there is some envy, but not the nasty green one. More like a light olive one. I'm so tired of seeing our teams struggle and shooting themselves in the foot with poor policies.

Most South Africans can appreciate a very good rugby team/nation...I guess some of us get a bit tired that it's always from NZ.

Jealousy and false pride is one of the worst traits in humanity and yes we all suffer from it...no man is exempt and it's dishonesty to deny it...some people are masters in hiding it and this imho is even worst. Modern society is infested by this and although it was lesser when I was young it's now become a plague because we nurse youth into a false sense of importance. The man in the mirror is the only way to assess your conscience and that's exactly why I believe we need a bigger omnipotent power to judge our well-being ...mankind is self-destructive and measures achievemants by outward manifestations and that seems alright but it is too deceptive...the "heart" of man is the beast and enemy.
