Next All Black Coach: Gatland?

The timing of Gatland's departure from Wales is interesting in that it leaves him freely available for a couple of interesting positions. Could he be the right man to take on the All Blacks? He has stated that he wants to return home after living  twenty years in Europe. 

Some might not think it, but I believe Gatland would be a perfect candidate for Bok coach. This is a rather unlikely scenario, but it's nice to imagine the possibilities. 

Well they're spoilt for choice for sure, to be sure .... Gatland, Scmidt, Robertson, Foster ...... personally I think they should choose Mitchell or Umaga.

Much appreciated Blobbok. I'm not so sure about Mitchell - what's the duration of his contract with England? However, they do have great options. I do seem to recall Gatland saying he'd like to coach at Super rugby level, to reintroduce himself into New Zealand rugby, but surely he'd be a serious consideration now. I'm very curious to see where the NZRU go with this.
