Reading through some of the Draft picks this morning.

Damn, Josh Rosen must be gutted. The second year running, his team have drafted another QB to replace him. Rosen will ride splinters till Tuas inevitable injury I guess.

Ceedee Lamb to the Cowboys and Buccs trading up for Wirfs was a surprise.

I was surprised the Packers drafted another QB. Rodgers said he wants to play into his 40s, and they do need some firepower in the skill positions. A WR? A bit of a wasted pick in my opinion.

I'm glad to see the Bucs draft a tackle. This guy is a beast, he physically dominates defensive linemen. A little like Solder in that he can be a little immobile against fleet-footed players. I'm telling you, with Gronk, Wirfs and Brate, they have some serious power in the trenches for the running game! And receiving prowess. I think we could see something like the 2010 Pats, 12 personnel and maybe no huddle (my favourite iteration of the Pats, and season). Brady needs the protection, and if the Bucs can live up to this expectation, they'll be some force to be reckoned with!

Arians is sure building a great Offence although how much of it will be ground game I'm not sure of. Arians likes that 4 down field air raid style.

Looks more and more like me deciding on the Buccaneers as my team was not that bad.

I watched Pat McAfee’s interview with Carson Palmer, Ariens’ QB at the Cards, back in the day. He thinks the Brady/Ariens combo could well be a match made in heaven. And, IIRC, the interview was before the news of the Gronk move. Will see if I can find the interview again.

Arien's has achieved among, if not the highest, depth of target per throw for the times he coached Peyton, Big Ben, Luck as well as Winston. Lots of 12 personnel and he likes RBs out of the back field, which Brady is highly accustomed to - White was arguably Brady's #2 receiver last season. Not much in the way of TEs receiving at the Cards, but I don't know the stats on the Bucs last season. I just know that Howard didn't have great production. Brady likes a lot of motion, trips formations, bunches; Ariens utilized these heavily too. It really does look like a match made in heaven. I can't wait to see how this goes!

@ Cera.

Have you seen any of the other

Amazon shows?

A season with series?

A good one is Michigan State Wolverines.

John Harbaughs (Baltimore Ravens Coach ) brother Jim is the head coach there. He took his team to SA a few years back on an enrichment trip. One of the stars from  that series , Chase Winovich is now the DE for the Patriots.

I have seen some of the “All or nothing” series. The one on the Cardinals.  Then the Rams one that was made the year the moved back to LA. That was also the season when they fired Fisher and put Bones on as interim coach and then appointed McVay, I think it was. Also watched the one on the Cowboys.

Watch quite a bit of Pat McAfee’s show.

I’ll watch the clip later. I think there is a lot of talk about Aaron Rodgers’ reaction to tye Packers’ pick. I was watching the entire Pat McFee draft show with Pat and  AJ Hawk.

They were chatting to Aaron Rodgers during while the draft was in the early stages. They then cut away from him and a few picks later the news of the pick Love by the Packers came up. The next minute the the show’s feed lit up. Everybody wanted Pat to call Aaron and get him back on because Aaron said that he was going to continue watching the show.

Pat refused. He reckoned that Aaron’s future may well be defined by his immediate reaction to this news and, as a friend, he was not going to have any part in it by tempting Aaron into a reaction for the sake of the show.

I cannot understand why people feel obliged to read threads that are of no interest to them. It is so easy. Just skip it. Nobody is forcing anybody to read any thread/post.

Why? Is it less relevant to this section than gardening? A feud over a chess game in 2008? A reasons why other members are stupid thread? A thread about another forum? A thread about Mandela's life and death? A thread about "real" mean? A thread about favourite music? A thread about history, books, having a Jewish woman cook dinner, narcissistic accounts of random acts of charity... the list goes on. This is a sport. In these times of no sport, take it or leave it. It was clearly labelled as NFL. Therefore you didn't have to click the link, that you did and found something unappealing is your own fault. Goodbye, and wipe those tears; I'll be doing it again in the morning.

You can post whatever you wish, but let us try to be consistent with the placing of the topic under the correct thread.

Simple if you can read left to right.

Thanks.

Relax Card, nothing wrong with the tread at all. People get offended because they want to be offended...NFL is something different and close enough to rugby to be of interest for some of us...and by the looks of it, there are indeed more than a couple of us interested enough to keep an eye on things...thanks for the thread...I liked it and in which section it' s in just fine.

Agree, Draad and thanks to catching an interest in NFL I have now also picked up a bit of insight into Aussie rules.

" I have now also picked up a bit of insight into Aussie rules. "
That's logical progression ...and somehow I lumped Ice hockey in too, with "new sports to explore"....and maaaaybe baseball as well.
