Thanks for the link Cera. Yes, I caught this too last night, though I didn't check for details then. It makes for a very interesting season (if it manifests at all). The potential for the Bucs has just increased exponentially. In his final year, he was fighting through pain, and generally unhappy. He was a shadow of himself as a receiver, but he was still an elite run blocker. He was like having another pro-bowl caliber tackle. It's no coincidence that Michel was less effective last season as a result of his absence. The double threat of Gronk, combined with playaction and the deep shots of Arien's playbook... it could be a very exciting time to be a Bucs fan!

I'll be honest, I didn't believe the news when I first saw it. I was expecting another sneaky headline baiting readers. What a weird year this has been on all fronts. Brady and Gronk at Tompa Bay!

The Bucs made a mistake by letting Gronum go last year, Tatum and O'Neill would have been better choices. The Giants lapped him up and will probably take Powers from the Cowboys as well.

Yeah, I know fuck all about NFL.

Interesting Pakie. I haven't paid attention to the Bucs since the late 90s early 00s, so I haven't been very familiar with their roster. I'll sure as heck be paying attention from here on in.

@Cera: Gronk is such a troll that I'd have dismissed it off hand if that was all I saw!

Edleman is tough like a honey badger...I watched a documentary on the Patriots' 2018 season...Brady, Gronk, Edleman and the Mc Courty twins were the features of the show.... Legendary stuff.

Would never have pictured you as an NFL man, Draad.

Edelman was concussed in Super Bowl XLIX after that shot by Bam Bam Kam, but still got up and fought for extra yards and later scored a crucial TD. He is a real warrior!

"Would never have pictured you as an NFL man, Draad."

I'm not Pakie, but I stumbled onto a few things in my search for streaming rugby...the Patriots make for a good story and the Yanks can be good at telling stories at times...this thing with the Buccaneers looks like scripted fairytale...and if I'm gonna have to go work on a farm in Montana in the near future, I  might just as well learn the lingo.

Everyone excited about the Draft?

Burrows expected to go at 1 although Tristan Words might throw a spanner in the works.

Xavie, I don't have the foggiest of how the draft works. Any reading material you or someone else can recommend?

@ DB

Here is a mock draft, sort of a what ifs based on needs and predictions by some "experts". Who will go where and any trades.

Also helpful in keeping track with how many picks a team might have in a round due to trades.

Could be interesting if you catch it before the actuall draft takes place.
