a team effort and a successful one  without stalwarts AB De Villiers and Hashim Amla. This is no one man band, this is a team who's found it's mojo. Sure it's a depleted Ozzie side but it's the intent and spirit of the Proteas as a team is what we're talking about. The good thing about this side is that there's still room for improvement both in individual play as well as in selections eg Rillee Rossouw bombs out in the 60's when he's staring down a century, Behardien will make way for Amla and Miller will make way for AB. Just as I'd given up on an allrounder along comes Andile Phehlukwayo....perfect, just what the team needs for no team can win a WC without a big hitting allrounder. This kid is going to be the next best thing. A huge call but wait there's one other.....Find a bookmaker and stick some money on the Proteas to win the ICC WC next year! It warms the cockles of my heart to see the team is on the march again, just hope Steyn stays injury free leading into the big one next year.
Bring it on!

Actually I thought Denny's post was self explanatory and I was waiting to see Phehluki before responding.

MozThe above twerp just barks, that's all he does. Hangs himself out as an attention seeking tough talker.....a nothing, a nobody.
About Andile......he's young, around 20(I stand to be corrected) new to the international scene, took 4/44 in the first ODI but didn't get a chance to bat, then grabbed another 3 wickets in ODI 2. What caught my eye is the manner in which he batted in his short stint at the crease, hit 2 tremendous sixes by going aerial, straight with high elbow over the bowlers head........impressive man, impressive , it takes a talented batsmen to hit as clean.Technically he is solid. The team has been screaming out for an allrounder going forward, a big-hitter who can come in at the tail like Klusener, we have Morris but he's getting on and runs hot and cold. I would invest in the kid, he has the potential to be the next best allrounder to hit the world stage.

Some big calls Denny....Andile isn't the big allrounder yet...not by a long stretch, but I love your enthusiasm!

The idiot claims that Miller cannot bat another one of his BS  stories,   The denigrating of De Kock was bad - the sttack on Miller vicious.

I like what I've seen, but he's got quite a way to go yet. His fist class average is below 15 and tonight was his best score yet...if I'm not mistaken....He showed that his heart is strong and he might have brass balls. P romising indeed.

Thing is he's taken to international cricket like a duck takes to water and at the tender age of 20 with his current rate of progress he might and I say might become the next best Allrounder. Right now he's the team's best bet as an Allrounder....no-one can dispute that.
