Nienaber said only one try conceded was a system error, the other tries were all down to poor tackling by individuals. That a defensive system cant make the tackles.

He also stated some of those missed tackles were not difficult and should have been made.

They were too compressed at times, it did catch up with them once, but it has been present through a few tests now. As per tackling? You select snowflakes, you get burned. Damian has been eaten up on defence consistently for eight years now. How much information does one need before the penny drops? Will Steph be the answer when he inevitably returns? No. What of Lood? Lood has been a non-entity in contact this season. When your players lack the ability and physical capacity to impose themselves, how can they win these matchups? The sad part? It was very easy to see coming.

Damian was never in the right place….is that a system failure or an individual failure?

We were way poorer on defence than normal...we really miss PSDT and Thor isn't back to his own self yet...for some or other reason we lacked heart yesterday...last week too, but more so yesterday...we need some fire.

No we don’t miss Dud.The players can’t sustain the anti everybody else bs, in a foreign country….particularly when the sheer stupidity of the whole thing is becoming more apparent. And the man that led them into the swamp has decided to go awol.

Steph is a system breaker. A very poor defender technically and in terms of reading play. He is reckless and sloppy. Damian having his back turned to the carrier in the corner was an individual error. Hard to stop though in general when you are being run through for free further in the line.

When we had Steph we had heart and a bit of go forward...without him, we are struggling physically against the likes of  Ozz...he was a talisman and a leader, but it's no use in even trying to explain that to you two...you've been beating the anti-PSDT and anti-DdA drums since forever...likes sharks circling the waters for the first drop of blood, ready to feed...pathetic really.

Acutally we didn't. We've been dominated on the gainline in every test this year, even Georgia. I warned even then that we have a problem. The Plastiks were too high on themselves to acknowledge it. Steph has been a liability as a carrier and a defender. You have a hell of a task defending your empty statements. I sure as heck can't wait to see you try.

No actually we tried to point out some fallacies in the narrative….which was interpreted as ‘disloyal’. Now you are opening a new line….Dud Toit is a talisman. But once again the facts get in the way.
Dud Toit has played in 58 tests of which we have won 32 for a 55% win ratio…..well below any Bok player number I have ever calculated.

Most missed tackles of the Josè reign and anemic carrying without distribution.

Nope Mostert missed 3 Lood 5 no positives in that but missed tackles are not what defines these two I’m say Lood brings physicality to the role and Mostert does not and that’s a fact and therein lies my issue with Mostert You don’t see past the heart and energy you miss the crux of what he is meant to bring to the role of a lock or blindside It sure is not making 15 nice low tackles a game or taking some line out ball The rule for a Bok pack is physicality at lock and blindside - it’s non negotiable. The only exception was Matfield who in his prime at 115kg muscled up and was more physical than Mostert is. But his skill and athleticism was on another level Mostert should not even be in the squad let alone match 23 As for Orie he should not have played a single provincial game

No you don’t see the anticipation….the being in the right place at the right time. Lomp defends channel 1…Mostert is all over the park. As Koroibete goes in the player diving to try to ankle tap him is Mostert.

Any test lock can do the defence Lomp does and not be beaten up in the process. Lomp can’t make a hard tackle without being hurt it seems. He is a bog ordinary, lazy big man who gets hurt easily ….no special talent.

Lomp defends better when in congested areas with support on either side. He doesn't have much front-on force, and usually ends up on the floor as the support does the heavy duty hit to ground.
