 Aloing with Rassie he was the brains of the operation. Robbie Fleck is useless as the attacking coach, as for Coetzee I honestly do not know if he is a good coach. Without Nienabaar it will be interesting to see if the Stormers defence falls apart. Without much attack- I would rather they swop the old WP of rugby for this approach of no tries. Not any bonus points this season

 It's understandable if it's for personal reasons as well that he want's to be closer to his dad. so then let him go. If he goes it will be sad as he is one of the best. Hopefully this opens up an oportunity to get Dobbo on the team. If we want to fix the stormers attack I think John Dobson is the man. technically no genius, good enough though, but somehow he just gets the guys to play for each other.

Nieaber has in any case probably taught the guys all he knows. His influence may even have crowded out attack considerations. Shouldn't have but possibly did.

At the beginning of this year certain herders were writing off the Stormers. How much egg landed on them!!!!Now some oaks are doing it again. The Mighty Stormers, providing they do not lose more players, should be better next year given the extreme youth of so many members of the pack. Hopefully they will sign of few quality backs and ge in Venter to coach the backline. He should of course take over. He or Mallet. But I am afraid merit is not the prime objective down here.

Beeno1 - you are a provonce man and you don't know who John Dobson is?

Coached the UCT varsity cups side - they won the varsity cup - left they came last.

Coached WP u21 side in 2011 they lost 2 games.

Coached the WP Vodacom cup side in 2012 they  were unbeaten and took the cup.

Again coacing the u21 side this year, we will see what he does.

@beeno nienaber's role was defense and no cups coetzee decided to use that as his main approach so i do not think blaming the best defense anaylst in the world for the stormers lack of overall attack is very very shortcited. its the head coach yes that will be no cups coetzee's role of getting that aspect into play. without nienabers defense i cant imagine how the stormers game plan will be changed.

once again proves my post i made a few months ago about the incremental decline of the wp backroom staff will only lead to more failure than success. john dobson is decent coach and might very well be a lot better suited than no cups coetzee but just like robert mugabe no cups coetzee will jungle jive the management and rugby supporters to only look for excuses due to his blantant rugby ineptness.

venter is defence anaylst not a backline coach. to be fair he cant coach a backline and mallet is wat to ego selfcentered to last at the union seeing that he likes to voice his view a lot and the management dont like stirrers
