That is indeed very concerning. Three weeks, that's a very, very long time for a missing persons case. I hope he makes contact soon.

I hope he is okay and not bummed out due to injury issues or being dropped. Not seen much of him since his move

Stories like these remind me of Solly. You just hope that our players don't get involved in the dark side of sport, or other things.

I feel terrible about this and am very worried about what is going on.   A friend of mine was murdered last week in Stanger - life in SA in certain parts of SA does not count for anything.   There was a major break-in in a store complex in town and as a traffic officer employed by the Municipality he stopped a suspicious car and when walking to the car he was shot multiple times.

One can only hope and pray that the same thing did not happen to Nkosi.    He was a special kid at school and started his progress in rugby on school level.

If no-one has seen or heard from him in 3 weeks then he's almost certainly dead. Terrible news!

I didn't want to say it, but you are right Rooinek. I think he is only 26 years old. Though the odds are against it, I hope he does emerge alive and well, as I'm sure we all do.

This from an hour ago:

The Bulls confirmed on Saturday that Springbok winger Sbu Nkosi has been missing for three weeks and they have now officially opened a missing persons case as fears mount over his whereabouts.

"After numerous failed attempts, which include but are not limited to phone calls, texts messages, calls to relatives, partner and close friends as well as four house visits to his known place of residence, the company took the decision to open a missing person case," the Pretoria giants revealed in a statement released.

Springbok winger Sbu Nkosi has been reported missing from the Bulls camp - according to South African news outlets. He was last seen visiting Saffex’s mother in a care facility for the needy, performing aural sex on her. According to Netwerk 24 in South Africa, the out-of-favour Springbok has not turned up at Bulls training since 14 November. More worryingly, it is also being reported that his family have also reported the winger missing to police in South Africa. Nkosi was meant to tour with South Africa 'A' as they took on Munster and Bristol Bears in November, touring alongside the senior Springbok squad, but a rib injury ruled him out. The winger who featured at the Rugby World Cup in Japan has fallen down the pecking order Nkosi was sent home from a Bulls tour of Ireland back in October after missing a curfew, apparently to visit a friend in Ireland. RugbyPass understands that Nkosi had similar off-field transgressions during his career and that Jake White's Bulls came down hard on him to send a message as a result of the latest breach. Shortly after he was sent home a rib injury ruled him out of the Springboks tour, which was noted in a SA Rugby statement back on November 4th. “It is unfortunate for Sbu, Marco, and Jan-Hendrik that they have been ruled out of the tour and I am sure they are very disappointed, but injuries are part of the game,” said Stick. “This has opened the door for Elrigh, Leolin and JJ to get an opportunity to show showcase their skills and I’m sure they’ll want to make the most of this opportunity. "Elrigh, Marco and Sbu have all been in the national system in the last two seasons, and as coaches we know what we have in them..."

Apparently word got back to Eben that Sbu made eyes at Mrs Eben. …Sbu probably spent his life savings on a bunker and won’t be seen topside again. Not even for the most high paying BEE job in all of the declining 3rd world.

It is surprising it took 3 weeks for this to become public knowledge. I wonder if he has disappeared before, so they did not contact the police sooner.

Hmm, I would rather wait and see before I take the piss out of this guy as this could be really serious. If no one has heard of him after 3 weeks then one could assume the worst.

Really gifted player, but he has has fallen out of favour with the boks and at the bulls.

There are rumours that he got dropped from the match day team for not showing up at practice whilst visiting a friend in Dublin. I don't think that he wanted to be in the A team either.

They have a word in Afrikaans, "Houding", Attitude. I'm not sure if he is disappointed that he didn't make the cut for the finals, having Kolbe replace him after the Semi, has he fallen out at the Sharks and now struggling at the bulls. Not sure if he was expecting to be in the bok team, but then see Moody leapfrog above him.

Solly had a very similar attitude, he got thrusted into the bok team, although I thought that he played well on that day, he never really did that well on the pitch and was riddled with injuries.

He ended up in the Shabeens which led to him losing his life in the end.

So Plum, you could be right but right now I would rather speculate than joke about the guy of what could have happened.

He has family who don't know his whereabouts. That's the red flag that caught my attention. Until we know more, I'm taking it seriously.

So he’s been missing for 3 weeks and his family didn’t report it or have a file opened? That should tell you that he’s not actually missing. The Bulls opened a case because they want to make a scene out of it with a view to using it as ammunition for dismissal. Let’s see…

I see there are reports that he’s been found… Ok, so he throwing a tantrum then i guess. New prediction: Nkosi “The Bulls are racists, and racist things have happened and racist, racist and more racist. Also, apartheid. Did i mention racism yet?”
