No predator names were needed as WP took a close one. The Lions dominated the second half, but I would love to see the penalty count. No doubt the Lions scrum was dominant. But not in every scrum and honestly not much after the first few scrums. Still the penalties flowed.  Despite the aura of competence Joubert misses a lot....he seems focussed on one team.

I thought on a few occasions Vermaak got the better of Dreyer...but he was blown for wheeling. If there was any it looked a lot less clear than the Bargie wheeling.  I also thought the Lions props were pulling down in many scrums.

Still a WP win....and another flubbed gloating prediction by RooiAAs and  Mike, Vetsak 3/11 and Carbuncle Cheek(CC).

Your rugby knowledge is ancient and you talk about forward play like you know it all when you don't have the foggiest...

The Lions are a competent outfit worthy of being in the final, the maths says they would have won had they slotted their penalties. It wouldn't have bothered me had they won as  it beats losing to the rabble Sharks and Bulls.

I agree Denny, the Lions were a breath of fresh air and played a good final. More power to them. But  there are few Lions  players who are Bok candidates. Maybe  Kriel, Dreyer and Schalk van der Merwe . Obviously Whitely will make the squad, but he wasn't that impressive today.
