I saw on the internet that there were the following three nominations for Junior Player of the Year - not sure whether these are the only players nominated.   The three players mentioned were -

Hanrahan - ireland

Serfontein - South Africa

Adendorff - South Africa

The three definitely warrant nomination - but I think the winner should be Serfontein.    I predict that he would sooner rather than later replace Olivier in the Springbok squad.    He should move from the Bulls - where he is playing second fiddle to Olivier - the poorest center in the set up at present.    The Stormers should buy him pronto - since De Villiers cannot last much longer than another year or 18 months.

serfontein's problem at the bulls is not only Olivier. Francois Venter is also above him in the pecking order. I agree, I think he should get more gametime, however this is all dependant on his contract with the Bulls. If he can get out of that one he should move. As a suggestion, maybe to the kings, then he will get Super Rugby Gametime next year. Or the Bulls could loan him to the Kings squad to give him Super Rugby gametime.

just a thought, where he will get gametime the easiest.

well as a footnote, Adendorff has the same problem at the bulls. Way too many Flankers in the pecking order above him.

Pleasse not the Queens - that would really be a career disaster for him.   They would not get top players and thy would be bottom of the log in Super 15 - easy to predict that one even before they start.

Well Mike, It would be the easiest way for both of them to get super rugby experience under the belt. As the pecking order at the bulls and the other big unions is long.

Maybe they should go to the Free State. But i don't see them getting decent game time at either the sharks, Bulls or Stormers. Maybe Serfontein at the Stormers, but not Adendorf when all are fit. And defentely not at the Bulls.

This puts Goosen's decision to stay with the cheetahs and not got to the Bulls in perspective.
