Nonu on Saturday

 I will hammer this point till I am blue in the face.How on Gods green earth do these match officials miss those shoulder charges from the coward that Nonu is?He realised that Jordaan was showing him up so he resorted to his old self by shoulder charging opposition players.Nonu...you are a coward!!!!!And an aging one at that.Fekitoa is miles ahead of you.

 Nonu in space is incredible. Unfortunately, he does not get as much space with the Blues as he does with the AB's. It may be a combination of things. I believe it is due to the fact that the AB's get much quicker attacking ball than the Blues as they are masters at "breakdown cheating" if you will and the way they clean past the ball and throw guys (especially Franks and McCaw) in space taking areas behind the ruck, their ball is quick, clean and crisp. Blues have not mastered this art yet as their players are not good enough therefore the ball Nonu gets at Super 15 level exposes him for the "average" player he really is. He is not a big guy. He is pretty short really and becomes an easy tackle to a well aligned defence.
We saw a glimpse of "AB" type ball in Tevita Li's try and although the pass was forward, that is more the type of ball and space that Nonu thrives in. He has never been a carthorse centre and the AB's hve never played a carthorse game. Nonu in any other team in world rugby other than AB's would be an average player. People can not say, "Oh, he never plays well in Super 15 but put an AB jersey on him and he is king!" Its not the case. It will be the same thing for any AB centre. Mark my words, put a black jersey on Tim Bateman and see what happens. He is a much better player than Nonu!
