With only the four playoff teams in the mix.....not one Bool player cracks the SA friendly  365 TOTW. Stunning really....and a strong message to Meyer. Basing the Bok team on the Bools is going to end in failure.

The Sharks by contrast provide 6 of the 15 players. Given the fact that the Reds and Crusader players were available.......that would suggest the 6 should be strong Bok candidates.

They include Marcel Coetzee, Bismarck, Daniel, the Beast, Jordaan and JP.

Assessing these chaps the Beast, JP and Bismarck are Bok fixtures. Coetzee is growing in stature after a good, but not stellar start to his international career against the Poms. But he is already an incumbent.

Daniel is starting to ask some real questions of the selectors. He has become a very fine leader....and is a smart player....something we so often lack. He has done so many good things this S15. But will he be physically dominated in tests....it's a concern that can only be resolved in test play.

Jordaan is an interesting new face. He has pace, a step and centre software. What sets this boy apart is his handling.....unlike predictable behemoths  Taute and JJ, Jordaan has slick hands. But can he tackle? He has looked a little vulnerable on defence. He missed an open field tackle rather badly on Saturday, but that could have been after his hammy seized......time will tell.

No surprises there.....Bools are without a doubt rudderless. They need to re-invent themselves.

As a Bull am I glad, HM should pick players on form not for their names. Agree with the sharks selections accept for Jordaan, sure he is a great talent, but I must say Robbie Fruen had a better game. Jordaan did score a try, which Daniel made with is offload.

True BBF but Jordaan had the smarts to run the right lines. This kid is going to be superb on attack......but defence remains to be seen.

Would be an injustice for any Bulls player to be name in this weeks team. They were shocking.

As for HM squad; he should first be looking at Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs before he even considers looking at the Bulls...

Bokbef the bulle will be reasonably satisfied with their season but will surely know that they have some problems. If they had beaten the crusaders the cracks may have been papered over. As it stands I watch with interest to see what they are going to do.

Spies does not appear to be a leader of men. Who will be the next bulle captain. Dewald Potgieter perhaps. Get more grunt into the pack and bulle will do well.  They play some very nice rugby scoring a lot of tries etc.

Those saying Morne can only kick hit this anomaly re the number of tries the bulle score. Their defence has moved up a notch as well as we saw agains tte crusties . Give Morne the rest of the year off and he will repay you. He is a tired man who has played far, far too much rugby  -I submitted an article along these lines some time ago showing he hs had no rst fo ra few years now. Form had to dip.

Build the pack. You need a hooker, tighthead, enforcer lock to partner Flip and a number 8. Get quality players in these 4 positions and the bulle will compete for top honours again. Its the pack that is the most significant issue.

I do not think that the try scored by Jordaan can only be accredited to other players.  Jordaan ran around the opposing  players and gave a slick inside pass to JP - when Pietersen was tackled Daniel picked up the ball and flipped a pass to Jordaan.   He throughly deserve credit for very clever play and I can see why he got picked ahead of other seasoned players for 13.   That one will develop further as his technique improves.   He has the potential to be a Conrad Smith kind of center  - only he is much speedirer than Smith is..

As far as I know Jordaan onkly played in 6 Super 15 games - scoring two tries for the Sharks.   Quite an achievement in such a limited number of games.
