...seems appropriate as the captain of the Six Nations tipping competition and being it St Patricks Day to be sure to be sure...

...that the honour of announcing the winner goes to you the captain....any time you like mate....and thanks for the invite and the rugby lesson...

......modesty prevents me saying anymore but congrats to Rooinek for providing some competition...

My problem is that I used my wildcard and went for those players who have shown some form in the past two to three weeks - basically from New Zealand and Australia - and got caught in the middle.   I also banked on certain teams winning and came short in that respect as well.
The Blues buggering up their game against the Lions were one of those.   The struggling win by the Crusaders over the Rebels was another one.   I would for instance have gone with Hickey if the stooge Kirwen selected him to start - but the bloody idiot chose Noakes.  I ran after Sasue in putting Beale in at flyhalf and Sam Whitelock as a lock - and both produced poor point collectors - would have even be worse if I went for Jaws. Couple that lot to Crotty at Center - and you are doomed.   All three would be gone for good this coming weekend and over the next three weeks - never to return again.
The other amazing result was the win of the Force over the Highlanders - a joke at best.
Three wins by NZ teams this weekend - one decent one and the other two praying off mistakes by the opposing teams - and two losses against no-hopers.   That was not very encouraging either.

Which Chiefs?   Retalklick was poor on Saturday - worse than Whitelock - Cruden is a mixed bag.  I could not go with Nanai-Williams and Anscombe ahead of Ben Smith - and then the latter produce BS of note.
Will look at Superbru a bit later - am still pissed off with the fantasy competitions.

....not so clever mike, given the Mighty Chiefs propensity to spin the ball wide....would'nt it be astute to include at least a Chief on yr wing...???

...how many kickers have you got?? how about Cruden, Barret and Sharky Steyn in yr backline?? thats gotta be a recipe for points with Folau at fullback it all adds up...

...i also like the look of Toua from the reds and Tahs Alofa but no room for them and Nanai Williams will always come first...for me it's a toss up between Kerr Barlow and Genia in the halves...

...Cole and Savea are my Canes regulars , Kieren Read and Sam Whitelock , T Taylor are my Crusties on the bench this week...

...haven't studied the stats so i just go with instinct and favourites...but this is just my first year at this and will probably have a different strategy next year...
