You are getting tiresome with your Voortrekker slurs...lager is beer...stop confusing the issue.

The tiresome part is you guys are still in the laager…thanks for the rock spelling correction. The same old victim psychology.

Watch the video, men having fun….you should try it some time.

Aag go look for your sense of humor somewhere...my ancestors never left the Cape...but I do understand the urge to hit back after receiving a cheap-shot on the chin.

PS, I  would have made the same joke,  even if you didn't make the typo.

I make the same jokes about the Poms, about the Aussies, about the NZers about the Yanks…..groups have never impressed me. But you guys can’t laugh at yourselves so you are miserable all the time.

So laager is a cheap shot? Not a truth. The Nats didn’t run the country into the ground  with a laager mentality and then turning on a dime, totally  capitulate ? Why the blue blazes should I respect that incompetence?

You have to agree, Draad. The odd Saffa can have a laugh at himself but on the whole we're a dry bunch.

I know that the oomies in my family certainly take themselves and their outlook way too seriously.

Probably a remnant of isolation mentality since the younger generations are a lot more easy going.

Ja Plum I was over-sensitive about a fair and silly little joke...sorry Moz, I was a bit of d!ck..., but there are lots of English people who look down at the "Dom Dutchmen"...p!sses me off no end.., but that wasn't the case here.

And there you go, Draad.

The reason why you're a better poster/person than most here, myself included.

Lekker long weekend for you and hope the Covid business isn't too hectic for you and the fam .

I know someone who always insulted Afrikaners till they took a trip to Ancestry.com. That was pretty funny. My youngest sister's colleague is a Scot who is about 46% English and 11% Scot. That was even funnier. The denial is funny from the outside in.
