NZ to kick yarpy butt at Wellington Sevens

Common knowledge and there's no refuting that South Africa got lucky in Vegas...

Sadly for SA though NZ is odds on favourite to take out the Wellington Sevens leg with many players returning from injury...

...whereas six try scoring South African Seabelo Senatla has gone home injured with Rosko Specman..bad luck as have been following Seabelo when he starred for the baby Boks and the Sevens squad will miss him... 

Influential playmaker Tomasi Cama, speedsters Sherwin Stowers and Ben Lam and Auckland teenager Akira Ioane have all been included in a 14-strong squad to prepare for New Zealand's home leg of the IRB world series.

Must say it's good to see South Africans finally taking some interest in the Sevens  . If only they could take some of that Sevens form into the Super Rugby we might have a competition...

I would gall it "got lucky" - if it was the first win against New Zealand for a while.   Since they lost every game against since Las Vegas last year -New Zealamd fot lucky not to be beaten by a wider margin.  They must just pray they don't have to play SA at Wellington.  The disgrace would be too big for them to stomach

The situation is so bad - New Zealand is now the bunnies for the Blizbokke  - like the Chiefs would be in Super 15 this year against the SA teams.

Fine - but the toying was unfortunately on the other foot.  Once New Zealand beats SA the first time since December 2012 - we can talk again.   In the meantime they are the bunnies of the Blitzbokke.  It really must be demoralizing to lose all the time. 

Bunnies they are and bunnies they will remain - even in their own backyard.   

 not so clever mike you don't deserve to win as you fail to support your team... so they will reward you accordingly...by failing...

...may as well give us the Olympic Gold Medal now and save NZ taxpayers the price of airfares to Rio don't you think?

Dear friend - what team don't I support?   Because I often criticize the SA teams does not mean I  do not support them.   I do - but refuse to be a puppet on a string.

Heartfelt  congrats - the first win in 6 games played took a long time to come - and I really do not want to see one-sided results in rugby.

The NZ team did very well and I hope for your sake they keep it up.   Being all brotherly love this morning means I am generous with compliments.

Now for the real thing - the Super 15.   I see the unfortunate Hurricanes are playing the Sharks on 22 February and the Highlanders the Stormers two weeks later - they are the first two NZ teams that will roll over and turn to jelly this year.  So not long to wait to see that spectacle.

I should actually go to Durban to see the Hurricanes game - but then I do not like to see one-sided affaits
