NZ under 20 team performance

I was watching recent games on school level and now the Under 20 NZ team in the series ending yesterday.   

Their Tight 5 was woeful and there is nothing of substance coming through in that component of the game in NZ and consequently I think in the longer term the future NZ teams would suffer badly.   The normal process is that they recruit players from the islands to fill gaps in their SR teams = they better start looking for future Tight 5 players urgently and bring them into the NZ Super Rugby teams so as t o allow them to qualify to play for NZ in future.

This thread would be raising a storm of protest from our NZ members.

Thanks for the fishing example - but I think the matter is quite serious and there is a need for consideration.  

Is beendork advocating the use of PEDS  ala Rallepelle and co ? That might be his way but to paraphrase a well known draft dodger  we will do it our way thanks .

We know Beeno by now - that is not the issue here.   From the bit I saw iro school rugby in NZ and now in the Under 20 WC there will be a problem with forwards for NZ in years to come.

It was the forwards that was disgraced by both the French team and the SA Under 20 teams - the backs were fine even though on the slow side out wide.  .  

I normally support NZ against all teams bar SA sides - but this is a worrying factor for NZ.
