This is a final call to the above to join our fantasy selection competitions that most regular members of the site is involved in. You will be welcome to join up and take an active part in the competition. In essence you will find that participation in the competition in fact - * enhances your interest in the games played and that you would be much more interested on performances - especially those of players selected by you - as well as potential other top performers that you could consider for future selection by you as a member; * creates a better evaluation of actual performances by players and hence give all of us a better understanding of the game and the problems in selections that coaches should in fact looked at; and * it improves relationships on this site between members and creates a more understanding and reasonable assessment of differing viewpoints on issues. There are in fact two competitions in which site members are involved, namely - * the Foxsport Competition; and * the testrugby compeotiton Canrugby is already involved in the Test Rugby competition. Join up in both - they are similar competitions, but requires a different mindset and a different approach. Sasue has provided the details how to get to join the Foxsport competition - the Test Rugby one is eaqually easy. Just Google Test Rugby Fantasy Competition - fill in the application form and where they ask for a league put in the code SZ and the name of the league is Stupidzone. Both are worldwide competitions and in the British and Irish Lions Competition on Test Rugby one of our members came third and the other one fifth in that competition. You will indeed be in a league of real competitors - so join in the fun.

 Mike this fantasy rugby stuff really does not 'enhance your rugby knowledge'. If you weren't paying as much attention to rugby before you entered these fantasy games then I find it hard to take you seriously when it comes to your opinion of everything rugby. All this fantasy stuff is just a bit of fun.

Mozart & Beeno1, here are some excuses you could use in the unlikely event that your Fantasy Rugby team has a bad week. See allcan be rationalised and explained :) Emoticons have been provided for Beeno1 where possible.

1. I was on vacation (or travel for the job) & couldn't get internet access;

2. The system did not register my changes even though I confirmed them.

3. I was too tied up  with my golf & couldn't be bothered to deal with showing you cretins that you are indeed without rugby knowledge (or education either (smirk is required when using this excuse))

4. You dimwits fail to understand my long-term strategy. It's all a matter of strategic positioning with the judicious use of transfers (condescending grin required when using this, nose should he held high also)

5. I did not have time as I was searching for emoticons in order to try and get through to you half-wits. It's like talking to  brick wall.

6. I was running my business ventures & just didn’t have the time deal with the Fantasy crap. (Actually my news paper route was cancelled & I was pleading with the boss to get it back)

7. The coach is such a worthless piece of crap that the players I wanted to select are not even available.

8. Picking players from this bunch is like fishing in an empy barrel & I couldn't be bothered

9. I had such strong reservations about the team the coach selected that I did not want to dignify this team by selecting any of the players (storming out of the room required once this excuse is used).

10. Statistically speaking I should be top of the table as when you divide the points each player earned by the time they were on the field clearly I won. I seriously question the algorithm used by the cretins running the show.

Mike, sorry for the delay mate. I'm not sure how I'd fare on something like this. I never partook in such a competition and I am quite dumb with ladders and such. :P

Either way, I'll have a look. Thanks for the heads up.

Tomas Nice hearing from you and hope everything is fine. I never participated in this type of thing myself before Super 15 this year - and then became very enthusiastic. You will not have any problem with player selection , but their are financial limitations and you have to weigh up preferences. There are also on the Foxsport site limitations as to the number of players you may select. As a rugby enthusiast I am sure you are going to enjoy the game and will beat us hollow - because of your expertise and player knowledge and evaluation. It will take you about half an hour to select your squad on Foxsport and about ten minutes per week thereafter - so it is no0t as if it is a huge time consumer. The Test Rugby game has variations and you will quickly enough find out that they only allow for selection of 12 players. Scoring wise it is better to select hookers for the FR - for the rest it is clear and easy to follow. Sasue will timeously provide the team sheets and you can then work from those to make or adjust your selections.

 Need more people to sign up for the Testrugby site - only six teams in there right now.

Once registered on the Testrugby site the division is StupidZone. Password is "SZ"  (I think)

Sasue Heaven only knows about the jersey - will go in and change my profile. Maybe it is a forecast of what would happen to make redsman really happy. :MAO Rooinek I thought all out to get members and am sorry the Test Rugby site became live so late. Your turn now - go for it -- I will try and help Canrugby Where the heck are you?

Mike or Sasu, can you please repost the Foxsports Codes? The thread has disappeared off my top 30 and I can't find how to look up older threads. Cheers
