That is the only thing he is acceptable as. He struggled to get into the starting line up of his club and after costing the Springboks dearly in the RC - the Club is where he should stay. An one-dimensional player causing more damage than he can ever achieve repair his kicking at goal..

A player who can pass, kick and run is one dimensional? Then there is Frans who you claim is a one-dimensional overweight and unfit crashballer, yet he beats tackles, powers through them, offloads, makes big hits and can kick a mile out of hand. Very interesting the manner in which you throw around little labels or 'buzz words' as though it affords you a measure of credibility; it doesn't.

With a player like Morne his strengths are assumed to be automatic and any mistake is blown out of all proportion. Take the miss on Ben Smith at Ellis Park. Smith had acres of space, Morne flat out running across to cover. So Smith steps him. It's like falling off a log....happens all the time. In fact from there it was 80 percent that the runner beats the tackle. But that try is supposedly Morne's fault.

How many tackles did Morne miss on that day? Morne is a routine poor defender. In the CR his missed tackle ratio was over 19% - which is totally unacceptable. And Smith did not step him - he ran through him when he used the Engelbrecht tackle technique so criticized by you.
You know that was not the only tackle Morne missed during the Ellis Park test. And missed tackles were not the only reason why I said he cost us the test.

Who are you referring to - surely not Morne Steyn. He never beats defenders and the number of tackles he beats the passed year you can count on the fingers of you one hand,

But were it Morné you'd still be wrong. It's pointless debating the Ellis Park test if you don't understand what actually happened. I see why Ceradyne has owned you with ease.

OK - there is one thing I am not ignorant of. If you ask All Black supporters who they want as Springboks flyhalf they all say Morne Steyn. Why is that - I wonder, It is because of Steyn's serious limitations and the knowledge they have of those. They know that he is a drawback for the Springboks = whichj could only be of jelp to the AB's.
If they really believe he is a Springbok asset - they certainly would not want him anywhere near the team.
I never referred to anybody but Morne in anything I wrote above.
Just one more thing - Ceradyne pointed out an article about Francois Steyn in Mid-March where Plumtree said Steyn has gotten down to 110 kgs. I saw a game in February where he was still 115 kgs. The weight issue is miniscule compared to what was said about Steyn's deficiencies in performance - he never argued against that and only a fool would,

I think it is a cultural thing, your obsession with size and brawn instead of brains (and I am being kind).

You do not have the balls to go argue the above on the thread where the discussion occurred because you have already stuffed it up on that thread. Is your addiction to Morne Streyn so serious that you cannot see where he comes short and have to revert to rubbish statement to justify his selection. Let me put it bluntly - with Morne as Springbok flyhalf there is no way that we can beat New Zealand. He uis just not good enough to make a positive contribution to anything positive - despite all the verbal diarrhea you use to attribute qualities to him that is totally absent in him.
