…watching the Woman’s 7s from CT, the commentators were talking about some NZ chick who grew up in a dorp called Palmerston. And get this, this woman can shear a sheep in less than  a minutes. I bet none of you chaps could pull that off, nor could any of you Sheilas.

She apparently gave up the sport of competitive sheep shearing because it was too hard on the body and took up rugby. I don’t know any sheep shearers to confirm this claim. But I’m sure some of our NZ pals can shed light on this apparently demanding sport.

You forget to mention the Australian ladies whipped the hapless Kiw is. Of course had the result been different that blowhard JW could have been all over the board like a rash!

Well at least she didn't do unspeakable things to the sheep Moz, offering a quick sheer to a sheep or two is fully acceptable. Unlike that "new method of training" one of the SA teams engaged in some years back.
Well done OZ and congrats to the NZ women they put up a good fight. Of course the SA team was nowhere to be seen. I am sure that that self-proclaimed "expert" Beeno knows wha t happened to these poor hapless ladies

Ha ha Black & Red, Moz is a gentlemen of "refined taste" (or so we are told) but this is a new revelation .

Well when we did our NZ tour in 2001/2002 every  BnB we stayed at farms on the South Island  the sheep would bolt like crazy when the locals went near them but very placid when we approached them.

Not suggesting anything but we did find it strange.

Often wondered about that.

Just_ win any idea why?
