Daniel Keegan is to retire at end of this years Supers...one of the best...always gave his best and what a heart...an officer and a true gentleman.
A great leader and example, pity he was on the light side but often he made up for his size and served rugby and the Sharks well.
Keegan all the best for the future and thank you for showing the true spirit of the game and how it should be played.
I don't know Moz but my step son was at Dale College...he was a junior when Keegan Daniel was in their 1st XI and XV and knew him...he was a very popular guy...good at all sports and better at cricket at school but developed his rugby after school.
Never forget the Semi Final in Supers on the 28th July 2012 when the Sharks beat The Stormers at Newlands, 26-19 after travelling from Brisbane after beating the Reds...they had to fly back to Hamilton to play the Chiefs in the final which they lost...weren't possible after going back and forwards and then back again...can you imagine the lag.
...and never forget Keegan going over to Jean De Villiers and trying to comfort him, he was absolutely devastated because of the unexpected loss...this was a very touching moment in rugby and showed the greatness in Keegan.

There is no news as what he is going to do. However, Keega n's family lives in the Humansdotp area where his father is a farmer. Won't be surprised if he goes farming there/
