One thing the game against Argentina showed yesterday

The team playing yesterday - though still having serious problems - is vastly superior than Meyer's team he constantly used against Argentina in the past and their performance is note by a better game plan than Meyer ever produced.
Improvement in the teams election in certain positions would add further value to the team and make them more competitive against the Australians and AB's - even though I think 6he present team will NOT beat the Aussies and AB's in the upcoming matches..   .

The Bulls would have run 50 past this pathetic Los Pumas side last night.

There is a problem that people lose sight of.   The Meyer years when SA struggled against Argentina away - the Aussies and AB's beat them with the greatest of ease.
Basically Meyer selected players based on reputation and in his own words plauyers he was familiar with.   If the reputation players perform reasonably well - it would not be a problem, but they did not and that is where  
Meyer's reputation selections started to go wrong in 2014 when the Pu,mas  beat them in Argentina and Meyer decided to bring back Steyn for the Perth test - and Steyn was a major reason for the Perth loss.
Since then the Springboks had tqwo major wins - eg against the AB's and the English and a str5iing of losses since the reputation players became worse and worse.   I think that the present team is better coached by Venter and Smith - and they have some good players as well  despite the string of quota players who should not be anywhere near the squad.
