Oosthuizen and Grace win at Presidents Cup

Only an unexpected short putt miss by Phil prevented the US team from winning 4 out of 5. Oosthuizen and Grace showed some guts but the rest were weak sisters. The Internationals need a big day tomorrow in better ball play, a format they generally prefer. ... The event is visually spectacular.....fantastic images of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. The course on reclaimed land is satisfyingly linksy and challenging. Worth a quick look even if you aren't that interested in the event.

 Thanks Moz I will take a peek. If I can tear myself away from the drubbing some of these NFL teams are getting. I hear only some 200 of the 1696 players took the knee. I generally don't watch football and baseball before the play-offs....but players taking the knee is 25% of the news at the moment. It's incredibly disrespectful, but the country tolerates it. Probably a sign of strength. .. Meanwhile at Yosemite a slab of rock 13 stories high, wider than a football field came crashing down, sadly killing a British tourist. And today they beat Fattie Reid and Koooch......with Grace tying the formidable Dustin Johnson. Good stuff from the Saffas and the Aussies who finaly showed up in the Singles. The Internationals won the almost Dead Rubber singles contest 6 to 3/ with 3 ties. If they had done better in the pair events particularly the best ball, they could have made a game of it.
