Opinions needed for Ruckers v2

Hi Ruckers

I hope you are well.
We are busy with some site changes in the background, which are going to result in some visual changes to Ruckers as we know it.

Essentially what we are doing is removing all the side-shows and turning the site primarily into well... a forum site.

We are also making it mobi friendly, for those of you who use your phones to partake in the forum.

We are going to include news headlines from around the rugby world, with links to those external articles.

What we're looking for, is a few opinions from some of our regulars. We'd like to give you a sneak peek at what the new site is going to look like.

We're hoping to launch the new site by mid October.

Hi Ed, all sounds great but can I request one specific visual change to happen with immediate effect . . . please could you remove the picture that Chippo put up on the "It's a Small World" thread?
I'm sure I speak for most of your posters when I say we'd rather not have to see pictures of explicit bestiality when we visit the site. Thanks in anticipation.

 I'm not sure what's more disturbing ... the picture he posted ... or the fact that he thought of something like that.

Hahaha, just went back to see the pic you lot are on about. I am not a particularly sensitive soul, so I don't really care, but ja, chippo, I can understand why people would find that a little inappropriate for a rugby chat site. 

ED I wrote to the email address you provided above. Besides fixing the problem with the interface with mobile devices which is a biggy I would like a feature that allow you to return to the top of a thread (a button for example, or you could have the Forum home button at the bottom of the thread as well as at the top of the thread). Scrolling to the top manually when you have many posts on a topic is a pain & right now in order to go back to the listings of topics you have to scroll up and then hit the "Forum home" button.
It might be useful to include the time stamp of posts in the listing of topics (main menu). Not critical but helpful.

 ED a basic IQ test for all kbbs (90 points cut off would do it) would be helpful as it would eliminate all of them. Then  we could have a patriotic test and that would eliminate wee cc. Then how about a common sense test that would eliminate ou rooitwit!!While we are at it one could have a daftness test to send dense denise packing.
