Orie Ou: Not The Flavour Of The Day

Already five threads dominated by the topic of Orie. I understand that he may not be the best lock we have, in fact that is a certainty. However, with JVR and RG unavailable, it is what it is. In fact, I think he has properties which will better the team after Limp's easy to foresee implosion against Australia. More over though, we have bigger problems which are over and above the selection of Orie. Our tactics are questionable and our production is putrid. Across the board we are being beaten back on the gainline on both sides of the ball. I can't help but think Orie is being set up as a sacrificial lamb, along with Nienaber. This is unacceptable. Unless Orie contributes negatively like the Stephs and Damians of SA rugby do, we must be more careful with how we handle Orie and Krutch. 

I see both Eben and Orie went to Tygerberg...probably why he's in the team.
