When Pistorius ran in the 400 meter semi in the London Olpympics - the winner - who in the final broke the world record - went to Pistorius and asked to excahnge his number for his own and it was done. The crowd was cheering him on.
That brings me to another issue which was further illustrated by the above - and it was an interview Bacher had with him. In the end Bacher said that Oscar was one of the 100 most influential people in the world. His impact goes much further than sport and is an inspiration for millions of people all over the world.
