Our commentary has always...

been terrible but with Skinstad in the mix as well  it's hard to imagine it could get even worse....and it has. Someone must have said something to Stransky as I've noticed that his dropped the "...he puts on the afterburners" or " he puts on the gas"...bit, then again he might of thought it original at the time. Bobby is a shocker, probably the worst of the lot and seemingly better on a rugby field than behind a microphone.

Lump it or leave it the Kiwis and Ozzies are a lot more professional in their deliverance.

That black guy (I don't know his name) is the only one who interjects with interesting insights and doesn't sound like a compete boofhead. Stransky in particular has the certain something that puts him on par with an irritating bugdie that won't stop chirpping. You just have to get a rolled up newspaper and clobber the damn thing! So too Stransky's big, ignorant mouth! The rest are so stock it's unbelievable. The manner in which they speak and word their phrasing is unnatural and bland. I much prefer the Aussie duo on FOX Sport. They banter naturally and have great technical insights. It's relaxed and funny at times. I'm not so fussed on the Kiwi commentators, they tend to be very biased and can quite often be insulting.

No those SA commentators are great after i hit the mute button on my remote.  You should'nt need a play by play account of the game anyway unless you're a complete masochist . Especially considering a picture is worth a thousand words. Try putting on some music instead perhaps.

I like Hugh Bladen, not the most exciting fellow, but he is very neutral, and he really knows his stats and players. As for the rest, they can pretty much voetsek!

As for the Auzzies, they are funny and entertaining, a little too biased for my liking, but ja, still interesting to listen to. 

Oh yes, and please please PLEASE keep Kobus Wiese away from English commentary. I have no problem with the man, but seriously, we have enough English speaking commentators. He is more than welcome to do the Afrikaans commentary, which he is actually able to do. 

Our commentators suck. They are very bland and Bobby is so unoffensive its nauseating.I  liked that Irish ex lions scrumhalf John Robbie. He has  an opinion and makes it known. Geoffrey Boycott is another Iike him. Funny phrases and a point of view.

One needs skill wih language, a ready wit, a fund of knowledge of the game both technical and historical.  Our lot are pretty average. Our ccommentators need to do the hard work reseachig interesting stuff before the game and be preapred.
