Our thoughts go out..

to our Kiwi neighbours this morning who have suffered a 7.8 earthquake 100km north of Christchurch. It's been reported that sadly two people have lost their lives.

Much appreciated Denny. I haven't heard much about it as I have been travelling all day but my first reaction is NOT AGAIN! Our thoughts and prayers to all & we hope this Tsunami doesn't materialize.

I'm sitting in Amsterdam airport out of touch. I assume the Tsunami danger has passed? Best wishes to all in the quake area.

The Amsterdam I remember is a city covered in fog...no way in, no way out.

Just transitioning in Amsterdam, now looking out over Palm trees towards Table Mountain, sipping a nice Neil Ellis Left Bank. What's wrong with that picture?

 I am horrified by the news of another NZ earthquake - may the people who suffered as a result being helped and may the dead ones rest in peace.  Awful news for the friendly people of NZ.    

 The quake struck shortly after midnight, my bed started rockin & rolling & I felt like I was at sea onna lilo . I waited hoping & expecting it to stop but when my wall hangings started to samba I was up & out of there .

Really NZ  dodged a bullet ..... the epicentre was in a rural area & the late hour helped as well . Most of the damage seems to be infrastructural, roads, rail, landslips etc.

 Cheers mr Blobby hope you and the whanau are OK ? Last time I was in one half the fecking road disappeared down the mountainside and I nearly ended up riding my Yammie into oblivion .Friggin weird they are it was like riding on ball bearings from what I remember .
