Sorry about the duplication - we probably were busy making the same posting simultaneously.
I had some comments on the selections under the other thread  

 It appears that the meeting held recently by the so called "rugby elite coaches" was a complete waste of time.
Habana, Jannie, Strauss, Mbonambi, Adriaanse, JP and one or two other players do not deserve to be selected.
Sure it is great to see that some young blood has been included but do we really still need those so called "experienced players".
Over the past couple of years those so called "experienced players" have done absolutely zero for Springbok or SA rugby other than keep young star players on the sideline.
Time to get with it.....in with the new talented young blood and out with the old tired farts.
Some bloggers will be disappointed that our most experienced fly-half Victor Misfield never got the call up.
Oh well time to place another bet I guess.

Rhule was literally everywhere.
He didn't score the tries, but he made the hard yards, the tough tackles and the miracle offloads. He's got to be in the Springbok plane!

I see Rohan is in the squad for the Barbarians game. I thought he was going to play for the Barbarians.

That team has got some real passengers and I include JP Pietersen as one of those.   I think that he is one of the weird choices - since he does not even make the squad for his new club in the European Championship. I would rather have Rhule in the team than Pietersen.   
As to selection of failed players I would include Alberts - based on the fact that he is slower than or props and had the distinction of playing for 65 minutes in two tests and making 7 tackles missing 3 in total.     His record is that in one test he made NO tackles and had a zero missed tackle ratio as a result,    He is useless in ball protection and recovery as well and his famous ball carries was zero as well.    A real passenger from yesteryear.
It was interesting to watch the Toulon game yesterday,    Habana did squad in that game and the only thing Vermeulen did was to get a yellow card.   The latter obviously is not match fit as yet. 
What is clear is that Coetzee's romance with Morne Steyn is over.  Morne was a disaster in both tests he played in and the cause of too many possession handovers as a result of aimless kicking.            
   
   

 I see guys like Jaco Kriel has 7 caps under his name ... yet with the amount of time he's actually played would it even amount to two full caps?

I hope Coetzee has finally learned from PdV and plays all the flavour of the day chaps for the whole tour....that should clear the decks for next year. Allende, Kriel, Faf, Mostert , Mapoe and Kleintjie Kriel are already on life support...we need to play the others. That includes Venter at centre, Goosen at flyhalf, du Toit the giant who cant scrum, Stephanie for a full game....and a host of these CC heroes who are suddenly going to be test greats. Italy looms.
