JAN SERFONTEIN
I must mention this guys name in capital letters. Clearly he came on and in 6 minutes made the Reds defence look sick. Why was he NOT in the starting line up? Here we have a 12 with all the qualities missing in Francois Steyn - eye for a gap and speed plus excellent defence.
Lappies Labuschagne
When he tackles somebody they stay tackled - normall going meeters backwards. By far the best loosie on the field of play in both matches played.
I would have mentioned Brussouw as well - but he gave away too many penalties for my liking.
Players not to be taken seriously anymore
JJ Engelbrecht
deserve special mention - he really put up a rubbish performance in defence. After last weeks shambles he made against the Crusaders - it must now be clear that he is NOT a center. Should try him on the wing - maybehe would fit in better there. This guy is a poor ball handler and poor defender.
Lionel Mapoe
Can this guy do anything right on a rugby field? I never saw any evidence that he can. Had a nightmare and did everything in his power to ensure that the Bulls lose the game. Bad news this guy.
BEST REDS PLAYER
No 23 - The referee in the Bulls game
The idiot was too bad to believe possible - he gave penalties to the Reds when in fact they were in contracention of the rules. By far the best player on the field for the Reds.
