I don’t quite get why Ox has slipped the Bok net to date and hopefully his move to the Sharks will change that.
He is a damn good scrummager and one of the best ball carrying props around.
I used to think it might be because he was not big enough as his profile always had him at 110kg’s despite the fact that he looks bigger than that stat.
I recently read an article on him about his move to the Sharks where he is seen as a replacement for Beast and in it he is listed as being as broad as he is high standing at 1.73m and weighing 119kg.
That weight makes far more sense and perfect for his role. Ox is 24 so let’s hope we see him in a Bok jersey this year.
