Against this speedy Chiefs defence, the Sharks needed line breaks from the likes of Alberts. But Jordaan was the only Sharks player who looked dangerous. And the pace he showed against SBW on the kick chase made it clear, he has all the physical attributes

Forget JP he has no centre sense....hanging off the ball....not involved at all in the midfield combat which decided the game.

But well done to the Chiefs and the Sharks. Unfortunately the upset of the Stormers, as so many upsets, set up a dead final.

Jordaan was good but the sharks backline apart from the first 20 minutes suffered from a ougunned pack.

Jordaan has real pace and showed he can compete. He should defintely make the meyer squad.

Plumtree made a big mistake not starting Sykes at lock and Alberts at 7. Coetzee at 6 and Daniels on the bench. Much more physical pack. If sharks had had the edgein the forwards it would have been a contest until sharks an out of gas.

Vemuelen is out number 8 and Albertsin at &. If Schalk is not fit play Coetzee at  6. PICK BEENO'S POWER PACK OR PERISH!!!!!!!

Sadly Moz,

Our game plan just wasnt right against the best backline in the competition. All the Chiefs needed to do was match our forwrads and the rely on their backs to run at them all night.

However the Chiefs didnt just match our forwards they completely dominated them which made their backline even more difficult to keep out andd in the end we didnt.

I am surprised by how much we lost by as that is not a true reflection of how good we are

But the out of position players were all poor. Ludik was exposed for pace.....JP was back to being uninvolved. It was a shock to see an incumbent Bok back subbed when the game was still in the balance. But he was always missing.

Ludik is a fullback....JP a wing

there will be a lot of conjecture and debate about this game but ffs I hope we dont spend hours blaming travel fatigue....but yes I do agree that there may have been some positional errors....but to be honest they just didnt turn up tonight and got smacked big time

moz,

I am sure there were 20 missed tackles by the sharks against 4 from the chiefs.............pretty easy to see why they scored 4 trys.........................
