Showing 13 skills we haven't seen by a SA player in the S15......once he got a bit of space he was gone. His tackling was nothing short of brilliant as well.

Aplon....how tough is this guy. He took the equivalent of a right cross from George Forman and came back strong.

Terrible game for Jean tonight......nice words for Mortlock though.

Grant was terrific barring a few silly mistkaes. Bekker was huge......dominant . Kolisi and Elstadt worked hard. And Fourie was a fetcher par excellence.

The Stormers were able to move when they got aggressive, but too passive for too much of the game. Schroder is  an absolute disaster, hope he doesn't have to come on in the playoffs.

And people were saying that Missie is better than Dejong. Dejong can play inside or outside center- better in either position than Missie. Missie has even played for the boks on the wing!

Also, surely Dejong would be a better inside center than Jean Devilliers. Jean Devilliers is a great rugby player- but he usually creates nothing

Oh give me a break, the lad has done stuff all all season and has one half decent break against a nobody side and now all of a sudden he showed skills we have not seen from at 13 - joke

That was his only good game of the season, I'll give me that - against who?

JJ was awesome tonight with ball in hand, he is now without doubt our best 13.......what a wonderful runner. Mortlock is so past it, it's a joke

@Saf..

de Jong is the leading try scorer in the SA conference this yeat bud. 10 tries. Hardly something to scoff at!

I know Franna is our 1st choice 12...

But imagine Whitehead (who is the best distributing 12 in the country) and de Jomg (the most explosive  runner at 13) playing together.

I reckon Whiteheads passes into space and de Jongs running would cause havoc for any side.

Flash are you on the happy stuff, de Jongh wishes he has scored that many - try a third of that. He is not even close, hell most forwards have scored more tries than him thid S15.

de Jongh is not an explosive runner at all. He has failed to make an impression all season, is far too small for test rugby as he is incapable of imposing himself physically. You have to be kidding. JJ Engelbrecht is far far better and its just a pity Taute got injured. These two are the real deals at 13, de Jongh is a nice little rugby player who knows how to celebrate a try - test centre he will never be.

I like Whitehead, but as a 12, he is our best back-up to Frans

He may be smaller....but he tackles much better than JJ....who continues to look like a wing.

Yeah right, looks like a wing running like he does, as the commentators rightly said, this guy is the new Bulls favourite for everytime he has ball in hand things happen. The guy is electric, has pace and great step, all that with the physicality to back it. He is twice the 13 de Jongh is and its a matter of time before he is our Bok 13

Jean will never be able to hold off that kind of challenge - he can only dream of running like JJ does. JJ in his last two games has confirmed beyond a doubt that he is the real deal as a 13. Yes he missed a tackle or two but also put in some big hits. I'll forgive him for those few misses, hell Jean missed as many today.

JJ is awesome

Oh sure Meyer just confirmed Jean as his captain for the year, because he has a secret plan to replace him with Highway Engelbrecht......harharhar.

Its a little sad that Meyer made that choice on the strength of leadership, for he is selling us short in the playing stakes by playing Jean over JJ at 13.......it wont last......Meyer can only ignore JJ for so long. We will struggle against NZ and Oz with Morne and Jean and Meyer will be forced into a rethink - it will then be time for him to pick the best 15, not a few of our best, mixed with experience - experience for experience sake, sells us short - we saw that against England, we wont get away with it against the real men

the stomers has 2 no13's playing in the centers to be honest so one can see how it affects there backline cohesion. the only way to fix that is to shift jean out of 12 and get a proper 12 that the union does have and play him there. that inside channel of the stormers is rife with utter rubbish decision making. grant keeps it going but from there its basiclly no mans land.

franna is still the best 12 in the country by light years but whitehead functions better at the outer channel i feel but the sharks needs a bigger line runner at 13 i feel. a jacque fourie type of player will cause havoc
