The problematic situation as to the Springbok flyhalf problem makes me take a good look at the Stormers game and especially Libbok.    What I have seen at that game was a disaster as well,   His positive contribution was kicking at goal - for the rest it was not as bad as Steyn's performance - but far from being good enough for promotion to test rugby.

Dave will hate me for writing this - but we will have to look elsewhere for a replacement flyhalf.    Thus far in games -

*    Jantjies was pathetic in the first July test - so bad in that test that he ws replaced very early - if he stayed on the Springboks wouldhave lost that test;

*    In all  of the games played this year Pollard he showed that he is a better proposition than Jantjies - but he was average other than for kicking at goal - he did not present much in the game as to other aspects;

*    But for kicking at goal Wllemse was by a long distance the best performer of the 3.

The cupboard is near to empty and drastic action is necessary.

Willemse was the worst if the bunch. But being a stupid yarpie you are full of shit. In this order: Jantjies, Frans, Pollard, Jantjie's luggage bag, the stadium turnstiles, Willemse. End of fucking story.

Mrs Searle is a foulmouthed specimen as foul as the things she wrote on site.   If she produces   anything it is clear he or she suffer from shit on the brain disease - in her case I think she does have the more serious problem and that is having shit instead of brains in her top storey.

I thought Libbok did better than Steyn, it least he could find the touch, unlike Frans that failed 4 times and Willie had to intervene.

Libbok has a problem that he loses the ball in contact far to often. I also watched Sacha Zulu in the last 20 min with the same problem. He lost the ball 4 times in Contact.

I agree, you can’t turn the ball over cheaply in test matches

No Mike you have me wrong I’m a Libbok fan and would have started him ahead of the useless pedestrian Frans yesterday He was brilliant for the Stormers last season and really good yesterday Very creative and really good at getting his back line going even in tight situations where no space exists

Really hope Dobson is the next Bok coach...he seems to get the best out of his players.

Yes Libbok was good and would be better than Frans.....Roos was solid to scoring a great try....hard to believe that these guys are dumped for oldies??!! And the chance they got was a hachette job in forming that young team with no structure....but let's see what R&N can dish up in Selections and Play for EOYT, because sooner than later there rope will run out.

Dave

I agree with you that Libbok would have been better than Steyn was yesterday - but thats till is placing the bar very low.

My reaction to the Roos try was that he is the ideal no 8 a player that has enough pace to link op with  the backline and make hay as a result.   Wiese yesterday was good 0 but he can only - like vermeulen in raffic and is slower than an ideal no 8 should be to p[roperly play a role in backline attacks.

A loose trio of Kolisi, Du Toit and Roos next year would be a massive combination.

Roos is piss poor. The de Lindy of loose forwards... overrated. Will never make it at test level. What I did see was embarrassing... totally fucked by a weak welsh team. I mean battered around like a fucking gum boot tossed about by 100ft waves.

Draad, I have to agree on Dobbo, man. even Clayton Blommetjies made a massive contribution for the Stormers. Thought we would be lost at the back without Gelant but Blommetjies step right up. Another one of those fantastic runners but poor in a team structure, but some how Dobbo knows how to unleash these guys potential.

Roos, Libbok, Blommetjies, Gelant were all rejects but Dobbo some how van get the most out them and winning.

Where as Gelant couldn't play in the the Physio structure.

Yep once more some would name the Stormers 15 as the next Springbok team.

The issue is with the national selectors, director and manager supported by Stick who knows shit about rugby or about backlines.

Springbok rugby is boring and without players such as Marx, Hendricksen, Smith, Am, Eben for example they would be deep in the hole.

Really frustrating and boring to watch at best.

This squad will be slaughtered when they meet the French side never mind the next WC.

Ebenezer and Am are part of that hole... Marx is nearly there too.
