that theres is mor depth here in SA than one might think.

Ek and I argued that there was enough depth for a 6th team and I recall saying we dont use our respources. Now we have Ackermann finding players from nowhere who are not bad at all!

Are younsters being unreasonably blocked. I dont believe in rushing players but experienced players somethimes get an automatic nod as it were. Once you have played for the Boks your provincial  standing is virtually assured.

There is a tide of youngsters coming through this season and competition for places will be huge. Not so easy for a coach to manage and get it right.

Beeno

I do not hold out much hope that the Queens will beat the Lions in the game on Saturday - matter of fact I think that it would be a miracle if the Queens can beat them at all.    I am much more impressed by the present Lions team than I was with their previous team combinations.  Maybe it was time for some of the older and useless players to leave to really bring forward the younger talented players they have.
