Piatau expected to return for Blues this weekend

The Blues are expected to welcome a fully fit Charles Piutau back into their XV that will face the Crusaders at AMI Stadium in Christchurch on Saturday.

The All Black has been out since May 9 when he suffered a medial ligament strain against the Chiefs but is now deemed fit enough to return.

Props Angus Ta'avao and Ofa Tu'ungafasi are the only players nursing injuries but the Blues believe both will be in contention for selection this week.

After the Blues take on the Crusaders, their final regular-season game sees them host the Chiefs.

The Blues backline was already awe some last weekend but with Puitau back it can only get better.

The saders will have thier big Fijian back & that should help their hapless backline. It will be a tough game for the Blues but it should be a game with some fireworks.
