He's reportedly changing his name to Peter Shoeman.

A man must secure his and his families  financial future if at all possible.

Earnings in the NH have always been vastly superior to what one earns in South Africa.

Hopefully us joining NH competitions will stop the devasting loss of players.

It is not about family and financial future. Greed knows no limits. One buck is already more than one hundred times too attractive for the greedy.

As to joining the NH, it will speed up the leak, SA players view their own national squads as a front window to sell themselves when they are young and when they get old, as a retirement house.

Greed is greed. And loyalty goes to the highest bidder for greedy people.

Time to take the charitable decision and terminate rugby in SA.

Earning Pounds should help stop the rot and cause that miserable jackass trad much more grief than he already experiences.

That is one good thing about SA rugby: no matter how miserable one may feel, thinking of SA rugby and its approaching termination is enough to cheer one up.

Beeno you miss the point There is no problem playing for a Scottish club side and earning the pound, good on the player for doing so. But that does not preclude him from playing for the Boks My issue with Rassie and co is their failure to identify the merits of players like Paul Willemse, Ollie Kebble, Pierre Schoeman, Dylan Richardson and Duhan vd Merwe - all these guys should have been capped ages ago and Richardson should have been capped on the EOYT Given so many of our players now ply their trade abroad, as national coach id make sure I did not lose any of the worthy ones to foreign countries. One cap off the bench is all you need to secure their services for good.

I agree our coaching staff tend to overlook such good talent and that in itself is a big problem. All of us spectators see the talent so clearly and then rassie and co just make like they don’t even see them. They have there favourites and stick with then come hell or high water...if they can’t spot talent in earlier stages, and then prevent them from leaving, then maybe they are not the ideal candidates to make SA Rugby the best it can be?

They employ Felix Jones to keep an eye on the talent playing abroad - the Welshman is obviously crap at his job. The best he has come up with is Wiese and Nico Janse v Rensburg We can’t stop the players leaving to play for better money but that does not stop us being able to select them for the Boks. There are a good few others either reached or close to reaching their eligibility to play for their adopted country like David Ribbans and Ruan Ackerman

I think most of these players leaving, wants to play for the boks......but they play there harts out for local teams in the hope to be drafted, but are being overlooked from our coaching side again and again. Very difficult to understand really because they are definitely good players otherwise NH countries won’t be grabbing them.

That is a good one.

As if a globalist product like SA rugby was not working on a global currency.

Whatever currency SA has, the guns for hire who play for the  international squad are not paid in it but in a global currency like the USD.

Globalists and their tales.
