If Divvy is Afrikaans, I would have thought it would be the other way around .

It’s not the other way around. Trust me. “Pieter de Villiers (born 3 July 1972 in Malmesbury, South Africa) is a retired South African-born French rugby union footballer who represented France at international level and played in two Rugby World Cups, and ended his club career with Stade Français in the Top 14 competition in France.” “Peter de Villiers (born 3 June 1957 in Paarl) is a South African rugby union player and coach. He was coach of the South Africa national rugby union team from 2008 to 2011, after successes with the South African U19 and U21 squads, and the first-ever person of colour to be appointed to the position.[1]” Actually, I’m quite sure that Pieter De Villiers is an Afrikaans boytjie as well.

That would explain the situation, their parents must have spelt their names wrong...
Devilliers seems more like an English speaking South African, even if he was Afrikaans at some stage.

They're going to bring the chump of all coaches back into the fray?? That I must see.

Well ... I doubt he'll do any worse than the current idiot.

"" The Marais camp reportedly also wants to get former Springbok coach Peter de Villiers involved with the union."" (Perhaps he is to carry the bags).

Yes we know what the rumours say, we just pointed out the difference between Peter de Villiers (Pdivvy...Snorre...Twakkie) and Pieter de Villiers.

Pieter was in Rassie's coaching team last year and has been involved with the Boks since 2012. He recently asked to be released from his contract and according to Media24, Proudfoot will replace him.

Pieter (the person that has a brain) resigned. It is Peter (without a brain) that is linked with the Stormers....
