Firstly, let me say congratulations to the ABs, that seond half was something to behold. Also, commiserations to the Bok fans, that was a tough loss & it's hard to see any solutions at this point.

Constantly involved, another class performance apart from couple of messy first half moments.

Israel Dagg 9
Big contribution. Loads of runs, tries. Part of a field day for the All Black backs.

Anton Lienert-Brown 9
Involved in tries and memorable pass in tackle to set up early log range score. Has raised the All Blacks' game bringing skill to the centres. Long career beckons.

Ryan Crotty 8
The classy glue. So what happens if and when SBW gets back? He's building a fan club.

Waisake Naholo 9
Punished South Africa in the first half after early knock on. Julian Savea should be worried.

Beauden Barrett 9
Okay, the goalkicking was horrible.

There was the odd blooper. But he wrecked the Springboks with great passes, running and deft kick for late try. Plus super Aussie Rules style catch.

TJ Perenara 8
He's had two great tests. Great nose for a try, even if one was very lucky.

Kieran Read 8
Smashing run in one Perenara try the highlight. Sharp and busy without the game really going his way.

Matt Todd 7
Fairly quiet given the carnage - certainly didn't prove that benching Savea was the right move.

Jerome Kaino 7
Not the usual physical impact although lovely scoop up for Dagg try.

Brodie Retallick 9
Part lock, part second five eighths. Some big runs, lots of grunt. A huge game against quality lock opposition.

Sam Whitelock 8
Particularly good first half, and really prominent in first try.

Owen Franks 8
Another busy game around the field, in line with the new look Franks. Even scrum battle.

Dane Coles 8
Busy test. Not lineout perfect but good enough. Marvellous link in one of the spectacular tries.

Joe Moody 8
More prominent around the field now that he has found his test confidence. Scrum solid.

Reserves
Codie Taylor (Coles, 68m) 6
A couple of nice tackles and back of the maul try. High tackle sin binning.

Wyatt Crockett (Moody, 51m) 7
Busy enough.

Charlie Faumuina (Franks, 66m) 6
Not involved in much action with the game opening up.

Liam Squire (Kaino, 62m) 9
The perfect impact game. Great offload and run to set up tries, then scored one.

Ardie Savea (Todd, 56m) 6
Deserved to start. Didn't really join the late free for all.

Tawera Kerr-Barlow (Perenara, 68m) 6
Standard contribution as the All Blacks went on a rampage.

Lima Sopoaga (Naholo, 62m) 6
Ditto Kerr-Barlow.

George Moala (Crotty, 66m) 5
Hardly sighted.

Pat Lambie 4
Horrible, like the rest of the South African backs. No threat. Useless kick led to charge down try.

Francois Hougaard 5
Tried to get involved, without much joy. Finished at halfback and maybe should stay there.

Juan de Jongh 4
Erratic on defence and wasted intercept chance with hasty kick.

Damian de Allende 5
The big centre looked lost in a lost cause despite making a few runs.

Bryan Habana 4
Hard to believe he is a great. Kicking in a one-on-one with Smith said it all. Soft defence.

Morne Steyn 3
It's not his fault, because he is what he is. But Steyn's ponderous, kick-reliant game is a killer. Lovely goalkicking doesn't make up for it.

Faf de Klerk 5
Helter skelter, the antithesis of Springbok halfback heritage. Brave tackle on Naholo the highlight.

Warren Whiteley 7
A very good footballer for sure, but maybe lacks something special at test level.

Oupa Mahoje 5
No attack and his tackling lacked impact.

Francois Louw 3
Departed early apparently with injury, a chat with Franks about the only memorable moment.

Pieter-Steph du Toit 6
Retallick blew past him once, and he couldn't impose himself on the game.

Eben Etzebeth 5
Where was he with the ball? With backs like these, the forwards had to take control.

Vincent Kock 7
Scrum was about the only thing South Africa could rely on.

Adriaan Strauss 6
Decent set piece and he tried to run, but went nowhere. Captaincy lacked inspiration.

Tendai Mtawarira 7
Ditto above for front row, and he looked for action without setting the world on fire.

Reserves
Bongi Mbonambi (Strauss, 75m) 3
Squire ran around him, and he lost a lineout.

Steven Kitshoff 5 (Mtawarira, 51m) 5
Got his hands on the ball a few times.

Julian Redelinghuys (Koch, 46m) 5
Just part of the general malaise.

Lood de Jager (Etzebeth, 46m) 6
Made a few runs but then ruined it somewhat with a sin binning for dangerous charge.

Willem Alberts (Mahoje, 46m) 6
Overshadowed by the similarly sized loosie Squire.

Jaco Kriel (Louw, 13m) 7
Launched himself into defence, without really knocking the All Blacks over.

Lionel Mapoe (de Klerk, 68m) 3
Bit of a shocker including lost ball which led to late Barrett try.

Willie Le Roux (Steyn, 64m) 8
Crazy bench selection. More attacking spark than the rest put together. Should be essential starter.

OPINION: NEW ZEALAND GAVE AN EXHIBITION OF HOW THE GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED AND IN THE PROCESS SET A FEW RECORDS.

Their 57-15 win over South Africa in Durban equalled the world record (17) for most Test wins in a row, was the All Blacks' highest victory margin over the Springboks ever and also the most points ever scored by a Kiwi team against the Boks.

However, the most telling statistic is that they outscored the Boks by nine tries to nil!

15 Ben Smith:
His ability to put other players into space and his play under the high ball is what sets him apart.

14 Israel Dagg:
Showed his skill in keeping the ball alive and made plenty of metres against a porous Bok defence, but conceded a few turnovers.

13 Anton Lienert-Brown:
Caused havoc in the Bok defence, beating defenders almost at will.
8/10

12 Ryan Crotty:
Combined brilliantly with Lienert-Brown, even though he did not make as many metres - was still a nightmare for that leaky defence on the opposing side.

11 Waisake Naholo:
Must have thought he was on an unopposed training run - making plenty of clean breaks and beating some non-existing defenders.
8/10

10 Beauden Barrett:
His goal-kicking remains an issue, although he had the swirling wind to blame this time round - which also seemed to have affected some of his out-of-hand kicking. However, his general play is still way ahead of the rest.

9 TJ Perenara:
His service was not always accurate, but he had a more than satisfactory performance behind a dominant pack.

8 Kieran Read (captain):
Butchered an early try-scoring chance with a wild pass, but from then on his was pure class - especially the rile he played in the All Blacks' fifth try.

7 Matt Todd:
He had his moments, but probably a lot quieter than would have been expected of him.

6 Jerome Kaino:
Physical as always and a monstrous presence in the contact areas.

5 Sam Whitelock:
Did the basics well and put in a mammoth effort in the dark places - a key player in the effort that neutralised the Bok bruisers.

4 Brodie Retallick:
What can you say about him that has not already been said - the consummate professional that does the basics of his job better than most.

3 Owen Franks:
Wasn't required to do much more than scrum and was solid.

2 Dane Coles:
Cynical penalty in first half and was lucky not to have been carded. The rest of his game was skilful and what you expect of the All Black hooker.

1 Joe Moody:
Not the dominance he was expected to have in the scrums, took to bullying smaller backline players off the ball and conceded a couple of silly penalties.

16 Codie Taylor (on for Coles, 69th minute):
Scored a try and was yellow carded in his short stint. Not enough time to be rated.

17 Wyatt Crockett (on for Moody, 51st minute):
Carried the ball, twice, made all of three metres, made five tackles and missed one. He was steady in the scrums. Nothing special.

18 Charlie Faumuina (on for Franks, 66th minute):
One decent run and made two tackles. Would have expected more from a replacement coming on when the opposition had already given up playing.

19 Liam Squire (on for Kaino, 63rd minute):
Had a couple of really impressive runs and made all but one of his tackles.

20 Ardie Savea (on for Todd, 56th minute):
Failed to make any headway with ball in hand and only made a few tackles. Not the impact that was expected, especially given the dominance his team had.

Not enough time to be rated.

22 Lima Sopoaga (on for Naholo, 63rd minute):
Did the basics well, but made no real impact in a dominant team.

Rugby 365 - Boks

OPINION: SOUTH AFRICA IS AT A LOW EBB IN THEIR RUGBY HISTORY - A PLACE WHERE IT SEEMS THE GAME IS DYING A SLOW DEATH.

Not only did they suffer their worst defeat in history to the All Blacks - a 15-57 loss in Durban on Saturday - but they looked clueless for the entire 80 minutes.

If your game plan is to only tackle and kick penalties, you should not expect to win too many games.

15 Pat Lambie:
Far too many of his decisions should have been different and his execution been better. Not a game he would like to remember.

14 Francois Hougaard:
Struggle on defence against Waisake Naholo and showed only brief bursts of energy .

13 Juan de Jongh:
Missed too many tackles and rushed out of the defensive line to leave gaps. He got exposed badly by a quality attack.

12 Damian de Allende:
Was, for most part, good on defence and shut down a number of attacking threats. However, he hogged the ball in open play .

11 Bryan Habana:
His execution was poor - even kicked ball directly into touch with a one-on-one situation - and his defence was not up to par either.

10 Morné Steyn:
Struggled with accuracy in the wind conditions, especially from restarts and out of hand. Also, between him and Juan de Jongh the All Blacks had plenty of free metres as a result of poor defence.

9 Francois de Klerk:
Brave on defence, showed great heart and a better kicking game. However, his decision-making remains a problem and gave away a couple of penalties.

8 Warren Whiteley:
Was not flawless, but worked his heart out on defence and bar one made the most tackles on the field.

7 Teboho Mohoje:
Making 10 tackles will suggest he had a great game, but it was the rest of his game that lacked - such as allowing the ball to bounce and handing over possession.

6 Francois Louw:
Lasted just 12 minutes before departing with an injury. Not enough time to be rated.

5 Pieter-Steph du Toit:
Missed too many tackles, although his workrate on defence was right up there. Rest of his game needs to improve.

4 Eben Etzebeth:
Not a surprise that we was replaced early in the second half - looked tired and out of sorts. Did not carry the ball once and made only a handful of tackles.

3 Vincent Koch:
His work outside the set pieces was shocking and his defence was also not up to par.

2 Adriaan Strauss (captain):
Silly play early on that cost his team and made mistakes on defence. Maybe he should step aside now. One decent game a year does not justify him leading the team on the year-end tour.

1 Tendai Mtawarira:
One decent run, in which he got over the advantage line, and just a handful of tackles. Was solid in the scrums.

16 Bongi Mbonambi (on for Strauss, 74th minute):
Not enough time to be rated.

17 Steven Kitshoff (on for Mtawarira, 51st minute):
Did not make a single successful tackle in his half-hour on the field. His workrate in other aspects was also not of an acceptable standard.

18 Julian Redelinghuys (on for Koch, 46th minute):
Made all his tackles and worked exceptionally hard off the ball. Solid in the scrums.

19 Lood de Jager (on for Etzebeth, 46th minute):
Made just one tackle, had a couple of ineffective carries and ended up leaving his one man short (when he was yellow carded for a needless shoulder charge) in the last 10 minutes.

20 Willem Alberts (on for Mohoje, 46th minute):
Was meant to bring a physical edge, but failed to get over the advantage line once in six runs. Made some good hits on defence, but also missed a couple of tackles.

21 Jaco Kriel (on for Louw, 12th minute):
Showed that he should be given a start, since he played virtually the entire game. Was not perfect, but made the most tackles of any player in the game and worked exceptionally hard off the ball.

22 Lionel Mapoe (on for De Klerk, 68th minute):
Did not make a single successful tackle and no impact in any other way.

One great break, but two other crabby, cross-field runs that yielded no success.
