The reasons are pretty obvious, so I’ll just leave it there. But just in case some think I’m being harsh on Libbok, the first charge down luckily went into Bok hands, it could easily have bounced to a Frog who would have been wide open, possibly changing the course of the game.

I'm befuddled as to how DDA gets selected.

He never outperforms anybody else in the backs. Just totally anonymous.

I see he was receiving kick offs and making no ground. Rassie is trying to squeeze value of him while Andre just keeps proving that he's a superior rugby player to DDA.

In a way, though I'm conflicted about the "hybrid" thing, it confirms to me that Rassie respects AE's talent more than DDA's.

Nortje keeps climbing my rankings. Must give Rassie credit for sticking with him. He pops up everywhere and is often seen making covering tackles that you would never expect a lock to get to. He's giving me big time Mostert warrior vibes lately, Moz.

From Planet Rugby . . .

7 Pieter-Steph du Toit: The hardest working Springbok yet again. He competed superbly in the lineouts, carried well, tackled even better and saw out the game as captain. Never disappoints in the big matches and today was no different. 8

Just keeping it real . . .
