Madosh Tambwe on the wing for the Bulls is a must in the Bok squad, he has been so good for the Bulls this year - has everything - speed, step and power. The lad is pure class Willemse was excellent at 12, it’s without doubt his best position. He is now bigger and stronger which is ideal for 12 Gelant is simply irresistible this year. He is our next Willie. His ability to create something from nothing could even be better than Willie. His ability to put people into space is sensational Fassi continues to impress, that line he took to score that try was brilliant Papier is showing the form he promised as a youngster Great to see Senatla finally transferring his 7’s strike rate to 15’s - always been a class act vd Bergh at 9 for the Lions is full of energy, I also like the look of Hendrikse at 10. Gerhard Steenkamp at loosehead for the Bulls has it all. Strong in the scrums and great in general play, especially at effecting turnovers Ruben Schoeman has been very good for the Lions at lock, big physical guy. I like the look of Andre Smith of the Stormers as well. Evan Roos is next level - has to be a Bok. Is the obvious Vermeulen replacement. So much skill and power and so hungry to be in the action. One of those special players that don’t come around that often Elrigh Louw shows plenty of raw power which is always an asset. Tshituka had a great game for the Lions at 7. Thomas and Ox have been great for the Sharks

"He is longer bigger ", did you mean to say taller?

We have some great talent coming through and things are finally starting to look a bit more positive for us. Looks like  the only position of concern for me is Flyhalf right now.

At a push, maybe 13. But we can put a really good emerging or even starting team out based on what we see in the URC.

Papier has been next level at 9 this season and starting to come good now. Probably a little bit ahead of Jantjies right now.

Hendrikse reminds of Fourie Du Preez, very smart player

We also have one or two war horses and I mean Marcel Coetzee coming through now and should be  a must this season.

This is the year that Rassie and Co will need to start bring in younger talent if we are to look beyond 2023

Yes young talent are starting to flourish and showing what R&N must do....M Coetzee is good right now, but so many other young talent that can do the job better I think.

Marcel was the energizer bunny with a very high work rate , but he is no longer robust enough for test level rugby. As is the case with Johan Goosen unfortunately.
If it was a world cup final, would you back either player to finish the match?

Marcel has lasted all season so one cannot say he is not robust enough for test rugby But given he is 30 turning 31 soon it would make far more sense investing in Evan Roos and Dan du Preez as our 8’s to replace Vermeulen

Enough investing in the Deysel twins….let’s sell them and take a tax loss.

I think the du preez twins should get a bit of TLC .....they are not that bad, and might do a better job than Siya in the Rain :)
