Players or coaches fault?

Whilst I do hold the opinion that some players didn't particularly account for themselves yesterday it's clear the backline coach is useless. A prime example would be Mvovo's try, to be perfectly honest it shouldn't of been given with De Allende obstructing an Irish defender with his dummy run. All this just indicates to a team that doesn't know how to play to the demands of the management team yet and even that isn't a good enough reason to explain the performace yesterday.
We've got some 31 year old backline coach, who before his appointment as the Bok backline coach was the Southern Kings backline coach and only began coaching in 2013. For starters that's 3 years of experience behind him to then give him the national job which is unheard of, then the credibility of his previous job at EP doesn't make him worthy either with them hardly being heralded for their backline play. All this does not justify him having this role within the Bok set up and I would have chosen Paul Treu over this bloke any day of the week. 

 Players 80%....coaches 20%. Or you could say coaches 80% ....players 20%. But then what would you say about the Ackerman coached Bok A team?
The guys were pathetic. To me only Willie and Etzebeth were really competing and not always well. The rest were deer in the headlights.

 I'm leaning more towards a 50/50 responsibility split, all the new players that shined in Super Rugby tanked it against Ireland and from what I can see it's not entirely their fault with a gameplan and set plays that are still yet to be understood. But some other players are out of form period and played awfully.

 I think Shezza you are correct.   The whole game was a mess with a totally malfunctioning backline and the same can be said of the loosies,  However, the situation is not the fault only of the players.  Coetzee is totally clueless about coaching of backline players and his backline coach knows even less.   The backline of the Stormers were also BS for the years when Coetzee was coach there - so nothing new.

 Look Shezza I don't disagree, this was a poorly prepared team playing the wrong tactics.....but it could still have been saved if just a handful of players stepped up and won their individual match ups.
But they didn't. In truth the Irish players were individually better in every backline position, in the loose forwards....and at least break even in the right five.

We simply don't have the abundance of talent we think we do.....I see  zero international class wings or centres.
