The anti-Meyer brigade probably hated to see the Boks play so well. Instead of humbly accepting their faults im expecting to see the following excuses:
1) Wales were tired
2) Wales were poor
3) Wales missed many players
4) Willie covered over the cracks
5) This team wont beat the All Blacks
The truth is that this was a very effective performance (more so the 1st half). The back 3 clicked, Hendricks even stood up in defence. JP was okay but is surely a stop-gap. Serfontein had a good game (even Mozart must admit that) and once again exposure in experienced environment has proved the right way to blood talent. Halfbacks controlled the game well, FdP is not at his sharpest yet, Morne was even strong defensively. Backrow functioned well, Duane/Flouw had stormers and Alberts was decent. Locks combined well as did front row.
Lood had a great game from the bench, again the perfect situation to phase him into test rugby.
Mozart must feel vindicated and will surely cautiously admit that if Serfontein keeps this level up that he belongs.

Yes, the Boks did very well. A lot of questions answered?
They showed they can keep forward dominance and still play the backs well. Overall I thought it was a well balanced game for the Boks.

Ou Maaikie, Saffex and Co will probably only be in much much later. They are still busy formulating their fantasies about how locky the Boks were to only just pull this one through. Maaikie's time will mostly be taken up to try and prove that Morne Steyn was even kakkar than last week and how the ref missed all the scrum transgressions by Gurthro Steenkamp. It has to be the ref's fault that Gurthro were not penalised once. Maybe it was because Steenkamp was scrumming against one of the worst props in world rugby.

Not so great baby blacks lost, i thought they showed more enterprise on attack, and were much better and competed well in the tight. but Sa were just too big and too strong, good for them. but from a sponsers pov nt gd for the wc.

No, you didn't say anything about the scoreline you fucking clown. You left yourself a nice back door but you did say that you wanted the team to lose. Apart from that, you have said over and over how kak the side is and how they cannot make it. Luckily for you all of those threads have disappeared off the index page again. That is your only saving grace on this board.

Yeah, yeah ... I'm stuffing my face with the so called humble pie.
The Welsh were thumped good and proper ... much to my surprise.
Very disappointed in them, I must say.
I hope they'll present the Boks with a better challenge this weekend.
That what we saw from them was really poor. I know they can do better than that.

Excuses excuses. Ou CC and ou Maaikie have both just proved that you can take whatever they say with a pinch of salt. Last week the Welsh were the flavour of the week and they were going to demolish the Boks. Now, suddenly the Welsh were poor.
