For years we heard how the Boks missed a golden opportunity in not looking at Plumtree and how stupid the Sharks were replacing him with Jake, regardless of the fact that Jake immediately improved Shark results.

And now Plum has been axed after a woeful NZ forward performance against Ireland.

Will the Plum supporters, you know who you are, kindly fess up on this string and admit they didn’t have a clue.

I was never a fan, but he did OK at the Canes...funny how the assistants get booted, but Fossie gets a pass...in a proper function corporate set-up,  Foster should have been the first head on the block...this reminds of the ANC type of management,  where there's no accountability and always a scapegoat to throw under the bus...this is poor management,  no wonder NZ is struggling...

Agreed…Foster has clearly added little and has lost much. NZ are clear underdogs for their SA matches. Can their forwards avoid a string of scrum penalties? Can they match the Bok maul. Oddly dual wins over NZ might result in  a Bok wipeout on the YE tour.

The Block scrum is overrated, lost a few to the Wallys and finished third in the rugby championship last year. The maul is another story but there are ways to avoid the lineout. the kiwis should still win and played well above anything the little Blockys have done for a long time.

Very hard to call...but AB have the ability to strike when chances arise, especially with there backline...the Bok pack was not as convincing as in previous games.....where forward momentum was almost a given and easier to achieve....we are missing RG big time and Roos & Louw must both be involved in match day Squad. Lood was not bad, but RG just brings something extra...If the Bok Pack can Bring it and Backline can Round off there given chances ( Like the missed ones in 3rd W test) we can Definitely win.

Rose, stop being a contrarian and stay focused on the facts...you've got some solid points, but devalue them with your pig headed BS on some other stuff.

Alblacks played 3 matches against the higest motivated and skilled Irish team ever....it prepared them well for a match-up against the Boks...we played a poor Wales side and barely came out on top...Although Wales are the best side at countering Bok strengths...similar styles of play.

Actually the Wallies are no longer that match up and never ever have they had similar styles of play. Since when the fuck do the Welsh have two of those three man lines next to each other like that? Since when the fuck did the Blocks use the repeated angled outside in runs to stuck and compress the defensive line to the fuck? The wallys like to defend with 9 in the line and openside wing up. The differences over the past 20 years are constant. Yarpies are fucking nuts in the head! XD

Plumtree was not the issue Choosing Foster over Scott Robinson is like choosing Wiese over Roos

No it's not. Roos is the Foster. No substance and no perfor mances. Plumtree coasting through the ranks on reputation... definitely a Roos.

Yes Plumtree is the issue…..he delivered the most toothless AB pack  in recent memory. They weren’t even hyped for the game.

Well there you have it all the Plumtree groupies take the deep dive.

Plummer is a good coach but not great, but how many great coaches are out there. NZ just selected poor coaches. Agree, Robertson or Rennie should have gotten the job. All  of  them  took over team with immediate success.

Where as Plummers and Foster never won anything with their teams

Then there is also Jamie Joseph that took no hopers the Highlanders to win Super Rugby. He also famously came first in his world cup pool beating Ireland and Scotland.

I'm just glad neither of these coaches are in charge
