Plumtree on Bok pack
what ive been saying all along... boks will dominate the wee japane e... gallant no doubt but now playing with the big kids... they only beat ireland because irish played their 2nd XV...
Yes best pack and a growing backline but one that is not yet up to scratch.
To be more specific I would say best tight five. Steph is world class. Duanne not quite at his best and Kolisi average.
I am guessing here but I think Rassie has some tricks up his sleeve we might not have seen yet.
Stephanie is world class.....these poor deluded Stephosi! Stephanie is a defensive pillar who should have been playing lock. But it's too late now, I just hope he isn't Youngsed again.
This is another big Bokkies pack. Plodders that can't move well. Tried that shit years ago and got beat by 50 points. That was the day a rich South African and dumbass but businessman bet thousands on the little Bokkies. Putting all your hope in ten man rugby and donkeys.
Sure, just like Luke Watson.
2015 was hilarious when England could not even make it through the group stages despite having home advantage. This was the sequel to Mike Tindell's stag do in 2011, where most of the time was spent throwing dwarfs and being pissed at the local pub. I think they also got thrown out of their hotel for pinching the cleaners arse.
Steph Dutoit is fast for such a big person. He is often the first forward to provide support when backs score tries. He has certainly improved as a loosie under Rassie. The Bok pack, in general, is big, but it is also fast.
Strzok
Your application of the Pillar Defender to Du Toit is a joke in bad taste. Your description of a Pillar Defender shows that Du Toit is the exact opposite to what the term implies. As per normal you do not understand what is meant by the term or you just lie about it. I think it is a mixture of both.
Well not to worry, opposite Liggies he looks like great lock er flank.
Similar to Alberts, but more like Jean Deysel.
Here we have Strzok at his worse again. We have him mention the best rated loosie in the present WC series as a defender making only tackles on slow-moving forwards already going down. Du Toit and Labuschagne are not those kind of defenders, they rarely if not near to never get involved in those kind of tackles. That type is normally expected from players like other Tight 5 players and pace-deficient loosies like Louw and Vermeulen and backline players like Steyn. Any players with pace runs through or past them like is the case with Mostert.
The man certainly knows how to lie and distort phrases to target the players he hated before ever seeing them play in even ONE Match and he never stop writing lies, distortion and general BS about such players. Happy Liars and Distortion Day to you dimness,
Nonsense Poofter......the guys with high tackle counts are making a boat load of process tackles, foremost among them Stephanie. As for Liggies after all your bleating about him , he was the least effective of the Japanese loosies last Saturday.
This is crazy - the man must really have a perverted mind, First of all he came up with a version he read somewhere about Pillar Tackles and claimed that it is tackles made on forwards already in the process of going down. Suddenly he equates that with the term he discovered years ago to protect from attack the low number of tackles made by pace-deficient loosies and their higher than normal missed tackles. So the question arises who are the players making Pillar Tackles? According to the article he quoted the Pillar Tackles are pace-deficient players who only tackle players who run/walk straight at the defender and already goes down before the tackle is completed, but is unable to make tackles otherwise.
So suddenly Du Toit and Labuschagne two of the paciest loosies in the game making many tackles all over the field are Pillar defenders - eg process tacklers while the slow coaches are n ot Pillar tacklers.
Make up your mind Strzok - you cannot have it both ways, The slow and pace-deficient players who the writer call making Pillar tackles or the pacier players contributing to defense all over the field? Your deductions are truly mind-boggling and total deception.
Actually it's not 'pillar tackles' .....it's pillars, laterally challenged tacklers in the defensive wall. I wouldn't call Liggies a pillar....his problem isn't lateral movement, it's physicality. Dud is the first pillar....he makes 95% of his tackles in innocuous phase play.
Liar, liar and habitual liar all in one. Most of the tackles made by Du Toit and Labuschagne can be clearly seen on TV - while those made in traffic by them is minimal. It is impossible to get this idiot to be realistic - he caught himself out writing BS on site and now he is trying to lie himself out of a hole he himself created.
I will have to revise his name - it now is Schiff-Strzok.
The burden of proof is on you Queer....go ahead time stamp Dud's tackling from any test you choose.
The best pack in the competition, huh? Really? Riddled with incompetent quotas and all?
So .. it's been decided that to be the best pack in the competition, all you need is to have an weight advantage and to scrum well, right??
I see!!
Well ... the Goats have a quota at 1 ... and at 2 ... and a belly flopping penalty machine at 3. Not exactly the best front row in the business I'd say ... in fact, rather second rate if you ask me.
Then they have a clueless, useless quota at 6 ... and an elderly pensioner at 8, who hasn't exactly lit the world up as promised by Moffie 6 months ago.
That is the pack ... this so called "best pack" in the competition.
Haaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha!!!
I guess I see it differently to you lot.
The English have the best pack in the competition ... by some way. There is more to it than just leaning on someone in the scrum.
The Japanese were up against it back in the days of Meyer. They were expected to be freight trained then too. We all saw what happened with the Goats and their "superior" pack.
I'm sure they are aware of their light weight pack and the issues that come with it.
There are ways around this.
Go Himeno ... Goooooooooooooooooooo Japan.
Wee cc the kiwi wannabee having an unhinged rave again. The poor dope seems to be getting worse. The ravings more way out the thinking more irrational. Every Bok win eats away at him causing depression and anxiety. His medication is not working. Sleepless nights and eye tics.
In short wee cc is in a very bad way. Never mind cc we are here to help!
Hahahahahahaha.
Aaaaaaaaaaaah gee ... what a pal ... !!!
Thanks a lot, BeanDip!!
Relax Dr Mox and enjoy the rugby and further fine performances from the best in world 7 we have.
Stick with Mallet and Beeno. Steph is an upgrade on Juan Smith.
Thank goodness that the days of pap wee matfiled are over as well!
I would rather be focusing on pap wee Vermeulen and Quota Outa than on the winner of several "Player of the year" awards.
Then again ... Moffie does have difficulties determining the difference between his arse and his elbow.
Really Carbuncle, perhaps you could help.....Vorster and MaakNiks......which one is the arse and which one is the elbow?
HasBeen I just watched the first half of the AB test again.....believe me Dud is no Juan. A silly penalty, dropping a simple pass, missed tackles and then rushing out of line straight into an AB to create the overlap that gifted the Bridge try. And then there was the embarrassing incident when Savea carried him for 7 metres.
And what was influential? Perhaps one case where he managed to get Reece .....ball and man. It was a great big nothing. I'm guessing the second half was the same apart from the pick and go try, where Etzebeth had the smarts not to place the ball back, but into his hands.
Stephanie is a case of misapplication. Presumably we have him in there because we want more physicality. But too often he is out in the centres, getting the defence wrong....or on the wing dropping the ball.
Mayhap if he played a bit more like Juan Smith, tight and contesting the ground ball, he would make better contributions.
I have watched Juan Smith for years and his main problem always was that he knocked on balls constantly in games. He was in top form in 2007 - but for the rest nothing special. His defense was not the best around as well.
It is typical that Shifty Schiff-Strzok made a hero out of him and that went sour in the last test he played in in Argentina - in which test he was so poor that he apologized to the nation afterwards,
After all SSS is the know-all on site, He has decided 6 years ago without seeing him play that e dislikes Du Toit because he posed a threat to his beloved Matfield and that means hatred for life. Whenever somebody said something positive about Du Toit. He comes up with an imagined image that nobody else saw and showed his extreme prejudice. He once claimed he is the best rugby analyst in the world because he sees something nobody else saw. What he does see is mainly lying gibberish,
Let me help, you only hear gibberish....if you see gibberish Poofter, you are drinking even more than I thought.
I had a beer about 6 months ago and two glasses of wine when my nephew and his wife and son returned to SA after 18 years living in England and I invited by brother and sister-in-law and them for dinner in June.
No Mozart what surprised me is the fact that Smith did not knock on balls regularly in the 2007 WC. He normally had butter-fingers before that. But maybe Eddie Jones taught him how to catch balls.
Anyway I rather believe Mallett when it comes to rugby issues than you - your prejudice against Erasmus and some of the players make you look like an ignorant dolt,
