In this article it appears Pollard will be selected ahead of Jantjies against Ireland. That suggests the game plan used against the ABs will deployed again. And with the Irish half backs being leading exponents of the tactical kicking game, I'm guessing Lleyds retains his winger berth.

It looks a certainty if Jantjies has only recently got back. It is bizarre that he is playing Super rugby, Test rugby- and Japanese club rugby......
From the sounds of it, Oupa is also going to be starting.We need loose forwards that can get to the breakdown. 
Not sure if that means Steph Dutoit is playing lock. 
It looks like Kolisi will be a 6, with Oupa at 7 and Cassiem will return to eightman. 
The smaller donkey twin may play 8 as well.

That loosie combination - together with Dreyer - means that we will have a team of 11 and four seriously defective liabilities starting against the Irish.   Heave n help if that happens.  
I am still not sure about Pollard - but he could be better against the Irish than Jantjies was playing test rugby,

If Dreyer plays, then Coetzee is the most stupid person in the world.

Pollard was a marked man after his RC performance against the All Blacks. The Irish had seemingly put Heaslip on permanent Pollard duty throughout the game and they shut him out very effectively. I don't think Pollard had ever had to deal with such close scrutiny on any level of the game he had been exposed to at that stage.

 OK Pakie - but he has hardly played since the 2015 WC - where he was also ineffective - after being the back-up flyhalf and Burger the real  flyhalf.   I hope he comes right - but that remains to be seen.   

Pollard was mediocre, outside some poor service from Hougaard. But then we knee jerked to Lambie, who almost blew the English and Italian tests.....and then did blow the Welsh test. Pollard would have gained valuable experience if HM backed up his instincts. But the fans wanted wee Lambie. Hougaard by contrast lost the ball 3 times, twice close to the Irish line if I recall correctly.
