Pollard said while Australia was deserving winners, they indulged in prepared off-the-ball incidents that helped throw the Boks off their game.

"They are very street smart. They definitely train it and the referees don't see everything. If they pick it up now and then, great, and we do prep the refs on that as well," Pollard said.

"It's very difficult to see a lot of stuff off the ball with the refs focusing on the ball and breakdown. They're good at it.

"They do it very well and they get away with it 90% of the time. We don't do that, we don't coach that, and we don't play the game that way, but it's not a problem if they want to do it.

"We should handle it, and that's about it."

We had Marx saying last week that they did not see eye to eye with the referee's interpretation of the scrums against Australia, and now have Pollard saying that Australia is professional cheats after the 2nd test.

Given this is happening with the backdrop of Rassie Gate, perhaps not the smartest timing for more referee criticism.

This is absolute rubbish.

Just trying to find excuses for defeat I am afraid.

The Boks cheat and infringe just as much as anyone.

The real problem here is - When the Boks infringe - South Africans seem to think it is ok.

We have become ever so tired of this South African bleating.

The problem is - South Africa started to think their own poos did not stink after the last world cup - South Africans were the only ones who actually thought that they were the best in thw world  The rest of us thought otherwise - The last two weeks have proved it.

Stop whinging and moaning - You are now sounding like Poms.

Get your house in order young Pollard. And do tell Limp to lay off the throat locks, you may want to also ask him to stop flopping onto rucks from the side. Heck, you might want to include this in your report, seeing as it's for the good of the game. I know I'm knit-picking young boy'o, but those forward passes... I know refs can't see everything, but it would be nice of you to point that one out too. I mean, you're not having a good whine pressed from sour grapes, it's about good sportsmanship. Thankyou, glad we cleared that up.

I agree Moz, I hope this does not become acceptable behavior! What a stain on the game!

One would swear that the Goats play a clean game the way he's going on.

Wiese diving into Kerevi's neck at the ruck tells a different story.

Yes Draad ... it's accusing the ref of ignoring Ozzie transgressions.

Uh-Duh!!!

Nope it says refs can't pick up on everything because it's of the ball and the officials focus on the ball.

"It's very difficult to see a lot of stuff off the ball with the refs focusing on the ball and breakdown. They're good at it."

Go get another stick, this is the wrong one for the job.

The historical video made by Rassie showing 26 ref errors in a single game some of which defy explanation has let the cat out of the bag.

The big complaint is not actually he contents of the video because nobody can gainsay this evidence unless a complete liar.

The complaint is that the information should not have been made opublic. The trouble with that is firstly that what brings the game into disrepute is biased and incompetent refs! Secondly the attempt to silence this is nothing less than a cover up. They are saying aloud NO to transparency.

One must also factor in the fact that Rssie's lawyers claim Rassie did not leak the video. If that proves true what is the case against Rassie.

Also bear in mind Rassie has sent other tapes in with no proper response.

When we had Bryce Lawrence shafting the Boks at the RWC match against Australia we only heard some halfwit cheaters saying the Bok supporters shoul not complain. I would love to see a rassie vide o Lawrences efforts. It would be a lot worse that Berry's efforts.

Ditto when that shocking Ozzie cheat Stuart Dickinson was reffing. The twit was appalling yet these same nutjobs didn't want to hear a word about it.

Now we get the video clip showing how the ref screwed up the cals re the scrums. The last scum what a shocker and Oz got a penalty!

Of course anti Bok people will object to fair reffing as they are the beneficiaries. Worse still by far are the BINOS (Boks in name only) who pretend to be Bok supporters but are anything but!

So I say Lead on  Rassie lets get this ALL OUT IN THE OPEN. Those opposing transparency and fair officiating and are resisting efforts to clean up the game remind me of the crooked CCP Demonrats and all their efforts to oppose forensic audits of the massively crooked 2020 elections.

Its the same crooked, cheating mindset at play.  They disgust me!

Some body needs to put outa video analysis of every wrong call against the Boks after every test match.

What they are scared of is the fact that if people knew how crooked the officiating often is many would stop watching the game.

It took a man with courage to take on this crooked cabal. Yet some halfbakes talk about Rassie being the type to run away. Rassie has shown more courage than any other coach in history.

I would like to see the hea rings live. What chance of that!

Again, we enter the same old debate. A) What does playing to the edge of the laws mean?

This quota should focus on tackling rather than arguing about reffing especially as SA has a long history of being favoured by reffing.

His missed tackle was instrumental in his team defeat: the absence of rugby as provided by SA relies heavily on strangling the opponent and reducing his scoring opportunites, grinding the way up to a victory.

The quicksands worked the other way as AU managed to take the score fast enough and were confident they could score anytime.
