I have a funny feeling the tigers will either brake him or play him into the ground. If he is crocked they’ll cancel his contract like they did with Marco van staden.

Clubs pay players. At no point, it seems, on this board, the possibility of an irritation from Northern clubs is taken into account. Especially about SA rugby players as they bring no money for the clubs.

It may be as well that this player was benched for SA rugby games as the club had passed a request for it. He was offered rest in advance in order to speed up his club team return.

One possibility. On this board, though, people keep thinking that people in the North are happily supporting SA rugby. It is not. The rugby world is secretive.

Nevertheless, the irritation is rampant. A SA rugby player is an overpaid person, who play for SA rugby games six months per year and often disregard his club duties. When clubs are the ones paying wages.

As a side note, when  in 2025, SA rugby force their way in the 6 to become 7Ns, this problem will take another dimension.

This forced inclusion will deprive clubs from theirs players for two or three weeks more than the current norm.

All this to be charged on clubs and pushing a tremendous distortion on domestic leagues.

But, well, SA rugby must be saved so it goes.

So we need to know how Dullard played in domestic rugby to know if he'll be better than the last seven years of test rugby? Look down, know what you see? Your arse... get that shit sorted! 

Mike, Leicester got thrashed and Pollard lasted 27 minutes before being spirited away.

A pity for Pollard....but these guys also play Alot of Rugby and injuries can happen any time.

Strange decision to play him really. Not sure he’s fully fit and playing on an artificial surface is always a gamble with players who suffer lower limb issues. 

Leicester lost George Ford who probably was the single reason why the won last year. Freddie Burns is okay, but not great and can get you some wins and did well in the premiership final. 

They are paying a lot of money for Pollard and it is crucial that he plays as many games as possible. 

However, I have a funny feeling that Pollard will be crocked all season, then have his contract cancelled.

The November tour is coming fast. The player will be released one to two weeks before the first game. Then he will be afforded two or three weeks of rest after the last game.

In fact, from now on, they might nurture this player back to decent fitness and cross theirs fingers he does not come back injured or diminished.

Kingcorn, I’m English so I know all about Leicester’s players and Ford leaving etc ! 

Burns has been doing a decent job for them. Pollard didn’t look too good when he came on. His passing was very poor.

Pollard made two really bad passes and then went off injured so he didn’t do much of note. 

I’m surprised they played him on an artificial pitch given his recent injury. 

I think Pollard is one of the potential replacement problems  Erasmus is aware of - it is likely that he would depending on the seriousness of the latest injury he is unlikely to feature in the EOYT squad - so some surprises of certain players in certain positions may be in the EOYT squat as well.  

It is likely that players like Vermeulen and Steyn will not be in the EOYT squad at all,
